Even with 25 consecutive wins (most of them against mediocre teams) they're merely 2 wins ahead of the Spurs for the NBA best record.

Come on...

Please..

we beat plenty of good teams including Thunder in OKC/Clippers/Grizzles so don't post complete crap.

Again, outside of about 5 or 6 "good teams", the rest of those wins are against WILDLY inferior talent. I'll list it to prove it......

@ TOR
vs CHA
vs HOU
vs LAC
vs LAL
vs POR
@ OKC
@ ATL
@ CHI
@ PHI
vs CLE
vs SAC
vs MEM
@ NYK
@ MIN
vs ORL
vs PHI
vs IND
vs ATL
@ PHI
@ MIL
@ TOR
@ BOS
@ CLE
vs DET

Now, lets look at the "good wins", which for this case will be playoff teams.....

vs HOU - That's a decent win. They can be a very good team, but they're unpredictable and it was a home game for MIA. I can't say this one is wildly impressive because they should be Houston at home, but it was against a Western Conference playoff team, so I'll give this a good win stamp.

vs LAC - Definitely a "good win". Again, home court for MIA, but a good win none-the-less.

vs LAL - No. This is not a good win, not with the mess that is the Lakers this year and not when it's in Miami.

@ OKC - This was a great win, no question.

@ and vs ATL - I just watched Portland beat Atlanta on the 2nd night of a B2B and in Atlanta..... sorry, not impressive.

@ NYK - The Knicks are the NBA's version of the Walking Dead. With how beat up they are, I can't be impressed by that win.

vs IND - Great win.

vs MEM - OK win. Miami should beat them, so..... yeah. This is a "meh" win.

@ MIL - Again, as I said in my last post, they're wildly mediocre and MIA should beat them, so not impressive.

@ BOS - OK win, but again, Miami should beat up a old Celtics team without their best player.

So of those wins against playoff teams, you can generously say there's about 5 or 6 "good wins", the rest all against far inferior playoff teams. The for the non-playoff teams, the Heat have been drawing some of the worst of the worst teams in the league and will continue to do so to finish off the year.

How many elite teams are there in this league? Not more than handful so of course by simply playing a lot of games you play a lot of bad teams too. 5 or 6 good wins? there are about 5 or 6 good teams in the league period when you're talking about contention. So this argument is ridiculous.

To the people complaining about who Miami has beat...exactly who else do you want them to beat? Pretty much the only other "top" team they haven't played is the Spurs and maybe Denver. That's it. So you're going to complain because a historic run didn't include two of the top teams in the NBA? That's obviously reaching.

Let's not forget that the combined win percentage of their opponents thus far is about the same as the lakers' team faced.

Honestly, Heat fans, i loathe your team, but you have no justifying to do here.

25 wins in a row is simply incredible. Its a great achievement.

Their is 3-4 contenders and a lot of mediocre teams in this league, but the mental fortitude to keep this up, when most teams would have folded, is impressive.

I don't care what anyone puts up in front of me in terms of the schedule, its this simple:

THEY HAVE WON 25 GAMES IN A ROW. ARGUMENT NOT REQUIRED.

People who are saying they won vs a lot of bad teams have ZERO intelligence.

There are not 29 contenders in the league.

And for the people who are saying the streak isn't impressive because they are only over the Spurs for the best record in NBA only by a few games, let me point this out to you. The Spurs are not on a historic run.

Haters are coming out in full force.

Hmm, i believe this monday coming it will be the magic's first national live game broadcast. I wanna say Orlando could bring an upset but I don't know. Moe Harkless will bring his defense, Harris will be needed some attention in guarding him, and Vuc is a 20-20 machine vs the Miami heat this season. It's funny how the second worst team in the NBA may have a slight bit of chance of upsetting the Heat then comparing to some teams The heat has faced during their 25 win streak.

I think somewhere along that road trip. In the end the Spurs will finish the job if the Magic, Bulls or Pelicans can't.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.

At least those Nets and Philly teams had 7 footers that could get in Shaq's way. Poor Chris Bosh would be on the bench with foul trouble the entire series.

I would also take some of those San Antonio teams over this Miami team. Who guards Robinson and Duncan?

Then you have the Jordan Bulls teams, the Hakeem Rockets, and all the old Celtics/Lakers squads. This Miami team isn't close to Top-5 of All-Time. He mean hell, they are only a game or two ahead of a San Antonio team that has rested starters all year and suffered a few key injuries to key players.

I would love to watch Shaq try to defend a Lebron/Bosh or Wade/Bosh pick in roll. High comedy.

edit: this is a guy who struggled with a Billups/Wallace PnR, mind you.

People trying to discredit the streak as if every contender wins every game vs the bad teams. The bad teams still have NBA players on them and sometimes players have nights like Marcus Thorton did against the Heat and the entire other team is on absolute fire. Nothing you can do about that and teams lose because of it

How many other 10+ winnings streaks has there been this season? I'll wait

Can someone post a poll about who wants the Heat to break the 33 in a row record? I would be greatly curious about the spread on that.

Every team goes through weak schedules, but they don't win 25 in a row.

You can analyse the strength of a schedule all you like, but for every team that you find winning 10+ in a row, you will find a 1000 more that didn't win that many.

Regardless of the opposition, 25 wins is damn impressive.

Again, i don't like the Heat and i hope they fail where it matters, but you can't argue this. They have been incredible of late.

well said.

That would be comedy.Every time its a score.Though bosh has no chance against shaq.Bosh would fly with every shaq bumb.Lebron would do a much better job.

I would love to see both of those teams try to defend each other.Shaq power vs bosh finesse.Dont forget when left open bosh is one of the best if not the best midrange shooter and i just cant see how shaq can guard him just like i cant see how bosh guard shaq
