De Gea has been brilliant, but LFC should still be up at least 2 nil.

Bursaspor did well for Bakambu. He is becoming a really really good player.

Only against Bundesliga defenses. If he had to play against EPL sides he'd be useless.

37 matches 8 goals 9 assist.

Not very impressive to me for a player that Liverpool paid 41 million euro.

But as a German background player, it is extremely good. That is true. Likes of Holtby, Son etc., he is like Cr7 compare to them.

Spanish teams are dominating again.

3 in CL, 3 in Europa.

I think we can all agree that, like Mario Gomez, all of them would dominate the Superlig.

I mean likes of Jamie Vardy, Charlie Austin dominated EPL. Don't think Mario would have a problem there.

True that. I'm just yanking your chain anyhow. Gotta have jokes when your team gets thrashed like Spurs did today. :nonono:

Poch clearly didn't care about the EL with that lineup. Can't be too upset, we haven't looked the sharpest in the past week or two, so extra rest to sew up our top 4 spot and possibly the league isn't a bad thing.

That's true enough, I suppose. The nature of the defeat still hurts tbh. I think it's the first time this season we've lost by more than a one-goal margin, certainly the first time we've been so thoroughly outplayed.

But all credit to Dortmund as well, they were magnificent. Along with Juventus they're one of the few big clubs that I actually like.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves .

For the time being is 1 in Cl ( rm) and 1 in El ( winner of ath and valencia)

Its is highly likely to put the thing 2 + 2 ( Barcelona and Villareal should be heavily favoured to go trough but there is always that " fat lady sings" clause that no one must ever forget, wouldnt be the first time an spanish side gets a 2 goal advantage against a German team ( or even a 3 goal advantage) and screws up in the second leg)

the 3+3 ?

should atm and Sevilla go trough? absolutely are 0-0 away first leg results tricky? absolutely too.

Wouldnt be surprised if one of them or both screw up with a 1-1 or 2-2 tie.......or penalti shootout.

Atm beating psv 1.28
Sevilla beating basel 1.44

So yeah they are the favorites.

3+3 very likely at this point but of course one of them can choke.

If you dont care about europa, then why not to eliminate at the group stages? You dont care to win anyway so why do you even qualify from group stages?

Money, and that it is ridiculously easy to qualify. I think Spurs had their B teams in almost every qualifier and easily went through.

Plus, since EL is likely the best chance to get into the CL for most teams in the tourney at that stage, every team should try. Right now, Spurs are firmly in 2nd (they weren't earlier in the season) so it isn't necessary to go all out, like they may have if they were in Pool's position.
