I see what ya did there

But seriously I will be so upset if we pull another THJ like trade again with the #12 pick.

Even if the Lakers preferred Hield to Ingram, they couldn't afford to trade Ingram to the Celtics.

I wouldn't call THJ an established player.....

But assuming there is some legs to this report.... I think it means they have some concerns about retaining Horford and want to reassure him they aren't rebuilding but rather just clearing a path for Dennis.

Why? If the Lakers could get the player they preferred and pull a good asset out of it? They'd certainly deal with the Celtics. OBviously the Lakers don't prefer Buddy. but it would be stupid to pass on a great deal because its Boston.

Putting this here for discussion separate from Boston for #3:

One of my best friends is a 76ers fan and I'm a Knicks fan, we always talk smack which lead to this texted exchange:

Him (76ers fan): What number is the Knicks draft pick tonight?
Me (Knicks fan): I can't wait until Danny Ainge screws Colangelo on the Okafor deal tonight.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

I wouldn't call him that either but IIRC Bud was telling the media we got an "established young player" last year after we traded for him.

That's what my guess is as well. We will find out soon enough I suppose.

Because if Ingram hit anywhere near his ceiling, the Lakers couldn't live it down that they traded a franchise player to their rival. For that reason alone, it'd be nearly impossible to do so. And even if the Lakers were willing to trade Ingram to a rival, they'd need the kitchen sink to move him. I wouldn't move Ingram for anything short of a young, established star but any Celtics offer would need to begin with the 3rd pick and both Nets' picks, which the Celtics wouldn't do.

This is a double ugh. Okafor, Saric, Simmons front line? I thought "positionally balanced" was the mantra?

I should start holding my breath now then? Also pretty sure he will be minutes restricted all year long and probably won't even play the 2nd leg of back-to-backs.

Gonna go start blowing up Bryan's e-mail from the work account

Look at the Nets acquiring a pick higher than #24 (the pick Hinkie got from the Thad deal 2 years ago) :D

I was right (easy call): :D

I'm hearing Trevor Ariza & Pat Beverley for Nerlens Noel and a draft pick. Not sure how credible it is yet.
