I think you are seriously underrating a healthy Crowder. Main reason we had so many wins last year and why our team plays like total crap when he is injured.
Crowder is a backup on a Contending Team. No doubt.
No team is going to win a Championship with Crowder as the Starting SF.
Other than that, though. Yes, he's a good Glue guy.
Ideally, he'd be a great backup but let's not forget we competed and won a championship with Kendrick Perkins as a starter. It's all about how you fill our the rest of your starters and your bench for that matter.
Having said that, I've always thought he'd be great in the James Posey role, albeit now even better than Posey was.
