THJ is better...Just my opinion and I would not give THJ the money the Knicks gave him.....KCP is an average offensive player..18M for a guy that's coming off 13ppg on 33mpg with low efficiency is crazy to me..simple.

For
Monroe and Vaughn

Neither are we though that's the thing. We need to clear space for next off season so we can offer your boy Jabari a max.

unless marks is a lot dumber than i think, youd be better off taking vaughn and henson than offering jabari anywhere near a max deal.

I disagree Jabari is the kind of risk we need to take and you could make the last couple years of his deal unguaranteed based on how many games he plays.
Henson is a negative value contract. And we have enough of those already. Same with guards on rookie deals.

Re: 2017 Nets Offseason Thread III
After Marks witnessed what Vaughn did to the Nets scrub veterans he should be on the horn trying to get Vaughn in a package deal, but I would try to stay away from Henson's contract as well.
Disclaimer: I kid about what Vaughn did to the veterans. Sort of.

OKC Thunder fan, too.

Is KCP still on the radar after the Caroll deal?

This was a guy who felt "insulted" by a 5 year 80 mil extension offer. He's likely gonna get shorter years around the same or less per annum. It's not a good indicator for the future attitude wise imo.
Also DLo shared the backcourt with Clarkson and Lou Will alot... results were not pretty. DLo was actually alot better playing with the dude he "betrayed" in Nick Young, cuz he's a real shooter unlike the aforementioned chuckers.
Conjecture. Everything you state runs opposite of what Detroit fans have said about the guy. I'll have to take their word as more credible about his attitude and how he'd fit here.
You keep saying Detroit fans love KCP but if you go to their forum they are calling him a brick machine and are not at all sad thats hes leaving.

-Sad DLO is gone
-Allen will become LobCity DJ
-Kyrie will be top 3 for MVP if we get to 50+ wins, he will average 27ppg, 7apg, shooting 50-40-90

Re: 2017 Nets Offseason Thread III
I would rather go after Noel than KCP.
KCP's shooting numbers really worry me. I just don't really trust the guy.
Russell
LeVert
RHJ
Noel
Allen
That's a better team.

The worst spacing ever, defense would be amazing though

That's a lineup with three guys who can't shoot 3 in it...
Maybe in three years, Noel and Allen could expand their range to the 3 pointer line, and buildup their body at the same time. Russell can improve his quickness. LeVert could build up his body. Now, imagine the chances those things happen at the same time.
Of all these, LeVert's improvement is the most expectable one. People shouldn't gamble on too many things happening at the same time.
Timberwolves and 76ers started to rebuild this way several years ago, how many top 5 drafts did they collect?
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

Hey man, i know u dont like Lin, but cmon now. At least get some decent value back before trading your starting PG. I know ya'll real hyped on a DLo/Levert backcourt, but theyre just not ready yet.
