Russell Westbook is NOT washed up. Such talk is absurd a border line crime.

He is, however, on the decline. Still, you can decline from Mount Olympus and continue to be above the majority of the league and play at an all-star level for years to come. He just isn't an MVP candidate anymore and more importantly ... he is no longer worth the mega money he is due on the remainder of his deal.

Houston is rumored to have demanded "additional assets" from the Wizards in the Russ / Wall talks.

If we were to trade for Russ, I would want some draft picks back in return to offset the $$ commitment. It seems Houston feels they are due additional compensation in such a deal. Hence talks fell apart quick with Washington, Orlando and others.

Cool, thanks! Some things I want to see and what I'm interested in seeing when it comes to us:

I want to see DJ gone. Don't care where. As long as he's not on this team anymore, I'm happy.

Would love to continue to see this "activity" from the Magic on the trade front. Even if nothing eventually happens. As long as we're trying to make a good deal while sending Fournier and maybe Gordon out and trying to go in a new non-Henny direction, I'll be happy.

I want to see what we're planning on doing at SF. No Ennis, no Iwundu, obviously no Isaac. What are we going to do there? Is cedric right about Batum? Are we going to start Okeke? Or worst case, are we going to start AG there and have Aminu as a starter (please God no)? This is something that needs to be addressed. Wouldn't mind a Fultz-Cole-Fournier-Gordon-Vuc starting lineup though. But not likely.

Finally, I want to see what kind of FA's and trade targets we're looking at. Are we going to punt the year for future assets while we wait for Isaac to get healthy? Do we re-tool and try to field a competitive team? Do we stand pat and develop the
4 young players we have and hope to see them improve and get better? I wouldn't mind punting the year, or re-tooling. Not a fan of standing pat, but it's probably what's going to happen.

Those are the top things I'm interested in. Ultimately, I just want rumors to come flying in. Even if they don't end up happening, it would be a lot of fun to talk with you guys about. We need some more fun around here thanks to the last decade of boredom we've seen on the court save for a few flashes from certain players.

Yeah, I saw that cedric mentioned it. I actually wouldn't mind it either, personally. We really need an SF, badly. He's also much better than Ennis and Iwundu.
