From what I've seen, AD's been really soft this year. Dude's a jump shooting big who shies away from contact. If his shot doesn't go in, he's not all that useful, as he's more of a consumer on offense, not a creator.

And they exacerbate his penchant of staying outside the paint by having another big on the floor. It's just dumb. We complain about our double-big lineups. Lakers fans should be furious with theirs. Their double-big should be Lebron-AD at least 90% of the time in the postseason.

KG and Al didn't want to do it either. KG didn't want his height recorded correctly and just as Al did they made it known they didn't want to play or be labeled as a C. Sometimes you just gotta force their hands, they will probably force AD if they don't win game 2 if not for game 2.

That's how it's played. Both sides, both ends.
Post game interview was ridiculous though
Heat almost stole one and but they should
hold at home. Series could go 7 games.

I love hard fought series, they are great to watch but I don't like when the Cs have to go through them because it drains them when they move on (Tor to Mia series last season). I'm more invested when other teams have to go 6 or 7 games, most of the time I stop watching them if it looks like a sweep is inevitable.

Right. I'm watching 6ers DC now. I don't see a sweep at all. DC plays hard and they'll be tough when they go back to home.

AD cries about playing the 5 and wants another center so he can hide at the 4 guy is a moron. Lakers should have him at the 5 exclusively.

If they lose game 2 Lebron will have some phantom injury and miss the remainder of the series and it’ll be all “oh the lakers weren’t healthy” “Lebron would’ve won it all but he’s hurt”.

Kawhi Leonard has rings. Paul George is the most ridiculed superstar player in the history of the league though. Dude got clowned hard last year.

Except when people forget that when it comes to criticism of the Jays, there are always comments about how "stars wouldn't have a game like that!" with plenty of and1 to accompany them. I have had to bring up last seasons playoffs where in game 7 both PG and KL didn't score more than 15 each (IIRC). Let a Jay do that in the regular season and look at the reaction. They have to be good/great every game or it's as if they aren't worthy of accolades.

Saying KL is a champ just further proves my point, even the best have terrible games and some have many in a row (Playoff P)! Stop expecting the Jays to never have them. JT barely had an off stretch in shooting after coming back from COVID and look at all the crap people said.

I'm not saying they don't deserve criticism, I'm saying people could at least try and be fair about it, stop putting other stars on pedestals while only using their good to criticize Jays when they have bad games. I don't want to question whether people watch other stars enough, but something doesn't add up. It doesn't matter whether people put the young Jays verses the 27 or older or guys in their age range, they judge them on an unrealistic level. I see Comedian has to bring up stats all the time in defense of JT.

I'm not even talking about those who shall not be named, they hate just to hate because they don't like a guy, that's a category all on its own.

I totally agree, specially when it comes to JB. People pick on him a lot. Tatum gets a bit more of a pass because he's better, but still.. You're absolutely right..

From top to bottom, guys are out here struggling and the NBA is as competitive as it's beenin a while. LeBron James has been a boogeyman in the NBA for 15 years and that time is nearly done. Everybody else out here is human now..

I still believe it's Sixers vs. Jazz in the finals.

What a boring finals if those 2 teams indeed make the finals.

Btw, Silver has to be sweating right now.

Real chance you'll see Dallas, Phoenix, Utah, Portland come out of this round and a guaranteed small market team in the finals. For a league expecting Lakers x Clippers WCF, Brooklyn x Lakers in the finals, I can't imagine a Utah x Phoenix WCF with a Utah x Milwaukee finals would be what they want ratings wise. Lol

Watching some of these playoffs games, one thing that sticks out is how much better role players most of these teams have than Boston.

Overall talent, from 1-9, some of these teams just have more talent on their roster than Boston.

Celtics this year relied too much on Tatum and Brown. With Brown out, you just double Tatum and it’s over.

Imagine being Gallinari and getting this awful mohawk just to lose to the Knicks.

I agree but it doesn't help that our "others" get to stand around and watch dribble hand offs for 90% of the game. When they finally do get a shot randomly its far too infrequent and under pressure from a low shot clock. This team needs a big dose in creativity offensively and defensively!

Tatum, Brown, Kemba, Smart, Fournier, Rob, Tristan.. I think our top 7 is pretty good. We would beat the Knicks and the Hawks imo.. Even without Jaylen.

But we lack vets for depth. Outside those 7(which at the moment is 6), our next 4 guys are two rookies, a borderline rookie in Romeo and Jabari who was a bright spot last game. Got to get vets in here if we want to win..

This Knicks-Hawks game is fire. MSG is rocking with fans and both teams are hitting huge shots down the stretch. Makes me excited for fans at the Garden.

Wanted the Hawks to win, but Trae Young is such a little bitch. Dude had to do the cheesy 'cold' celebration didn't he?

The Knicks only exist to suffer.
