These guys were undrafted for a reason, Zeller was out of the league for a reason, love lost his spot in the rotation and was bought out for a reason. It is what it is folks, season ended when the deadline ended

This team is just begging for elite PG play. Really like the Bam/Love front court that’s something we can take into next year with the grooming of Jovic as his successor

Agreed. Bam had a bad game, but he would be nasty with an elite PG. Put another big like Love next to Bam who can shoot and that would be a great 3 player combo. We'd still have problems with big teams, but the offense could make up for it like when we beat the Bucks in the bubble.

strus’s descent into garbageness is truly the most puzzling thing ever. He was damn near automatic. Wth changed?

Our coaching staff can’t hire a single competent offensive minded assistant coach, no we get the Chris Quins of the world. Our star player coast more that a high school senior during the regular season. We need accountability.

I agree. Group think runs throughout the franchise. Not sure who is driving the lack of innovation. Maybe Spo, maybe Riley, maybe someone else? But this team lacks creativity. Spo definitely does not have anyone under him giving him outside ideas.

I’ve been in situations at previous employers where management does not want to think outside the box too. It’s a terrible place to work. Probably why Spo has no experienced personnel under him at this point. No one with any experienced needs to put up with nonsensical boxed thinking.

Dude thinks he's Kobe. He irritates the hell out of me. He shoots like he isn't a role player anymore. He shoots like he is Steph Curry and is the star of the team. But instead shoots 0-6 and can't play defense. He just throws up random shots. He doesn't know his role anymore or he doesn't care.

The positive of this is we can resign him for a minimum deal instead of losing him.

It's not over yet but we have to get better fast.
Zellar hasn't even been attempting many threes.

We need a game where we shoot like we're capable of.

Very true. I’m still holding out hope he can figure it out. Duncan on the other hand I have no hope for. Want him gone tomorrow. Like seriously just retire and help us all.

Shooting is streaky, but if they turned it around, it would have happened already. In almost March, it's not going to change. These guys can't shoot unfortunately.

It's looking dire, indeed. Remember when Spo was confident of us "igniting"? What the heck happened, fam?

Even last year, the 3 point shooting was at the top of the league in the regular season, but in the playoffs, it was hot garbage. We only made the ECF because Jimmy was Superman. We would have made the Finals last year if we even got average performances from the shooters against Boston. So while I understand it's easy to say "well they were 1 shot from the Finals so let's run it back," these problems existed last year and trickled into this season.

Just coach speak. I'm sure internally, Spo is saying "these guys are bums. I need better players." At least I hope that's the case. Unless these guys look like superstars in practice and it's not translating to games. Or maybe Spo is delusional. IDK but either way, it's not working.

We could’ve got some 2nd for max and Gabe at the deadline worst case. Teams we’re reaching out for Strus

Duncan's descent is far more puzzling. One of the best pure shooters you will ever see. His form, mechanics, and release is all perfect and the guy was lighting up the league....but now...he can't throw the ball into the ocean. It seems like The Monsters took all of their skill.
