The two main guys need to be taken off of the ball a little more. They were abusing that shot clock tonight.

It's the same damn problem that we've had for over a decade, but nobody in the FO seems to care.

Bro... Houstan 40% from 3 Suggs 37% from 3 and Banchero 38% from 3.
I mean I enjoy the improvements, especially Suggs who looks for real, but Banchero is streaky and we're the worst shooting three point team in the league, the statement is true.

Maybe we were always going to be garbage tonight regardless, but it rubs me the wrong way that we've done this twice now and blown two important opportunities against Miami and now Philly. These guys need a reality check if they think they're good enough to cruise against anybody. If this team wins a game, it's because they were focused and played well in at least most of their key areas.
I don't think they thought they could cruise.
I think in both cases they shot the ball horribly from the 3PT line and couldn't overcome it with greatness in other areas.

You do realizethe Magic are a bottom 3, 3 point shooting team. This team is a horrendous shooting team right now.

Then why does our offense still suck?

For who?
Suggs can't dribble. Black won't do anything with the ball in his hands except immediately look to get the ball out of his hands. Cole can't set anyone up. Fultz is hurt.
This team badly misses Joe Ingles' playmaking and passing ability as crazy as that sounds.

On offense, we got great looks and bricked them.
On defense, we got hunted and killed.

We can’t go another off season without addressing the shooting.

The Sixers have Nick Nurse as coach and a whole bunch of veterans on their squad. They know how to play.

Can someone please list out the amount of times the Orlando Magic have came back from 10 down to win a game this season?
I think in the Boston & Denver game they both had a near 10 pt lead when we came back after halftime
Regardless, its so tough for our team to come back from a deficit, especially when it's a night where we give up turnovers and offensive boards like tonight, because we have no 3 pt shooting

We get great looks because the Sixers know we will brick them.

Nurse brilliant coaching job..... Effectively shut down the paint and got the matchups they wanted with us making no adjustment....thelead wrote:On offense, we got great looks and bricked them.

I know wasn't even really talking about the 76ers though. Just tired of this team struggles offensively.

The gift and the curse of injury prone but good players.
I think this is what a lot of people need to realize re: lineups lol. More Goga is good, calling for Jett minutes is cute I guess, but if we want to be a good team, we just need to be healthy. It at least gives us a better chance when we can't shoot.

He copied and paste what Cavs, Boston, Miami, and Bucks did.

Yes, shooting is the problem, but it is amplified when opponent defense collapses closing the path to the basket. Our offense is built around Franz and Paolo iso game and we use screens only to force switch so they get matchup they want to score at the basket. Once that is cut off by zone with plenty of pickpocketing hands, we struggle.
