A certain player is having a lot of trouble guarding the pick and roll.

I don't think Towns is going to be as good as some people think guarding in space at the next level. I'm just here to let you know to prevent the tears from flowing when it happens. Once you get him back peddling it's ahhhh good night.

Honestly, I would stick to analyzing whether or not the whopper is better than the big mac.

yeah there is no way we take russell of the two bigs in my opinion. Skilled bigs don't grow on trees

Not today.. and definitely not retreating. You also haven't given any respect to the fact that he's got 6'10" and 7'0" on either side of him which makes a difference.

I could see Russell winning ROY like Lillard did over Anthony Davis and Drummond but long-term I don't see us regretting a decision in choosing the bigs over him.

I tend to agree with this line of thinking, even though I'm a huge Russell fan.

Though if Towns was selected 1st overall and we had the 2nd pick, I think I'd rather select Derek Jeter than taking Arod.

Just sayin...

At #1 it's still Okafor and Towns at #2 for us at least. Russell will have a small chance to move up if he can light it up in the NCAA tournament because I don't really expect the big guys to go apeschit because the tournament and college basketball in general is all about guard play.

yes playing with other great defenders certainly helps but he's been the center not stein... not lyles.. or anyone else when he's on the court...

when towns is on the court the lineup isn't too different from last year.... you swap out randle, dakari, marcus lee for towns.. and it's just about the same unless you think booker is affecting their defense...

he does everything well on the pnr except he might fall back a bit much... he doesn't need to be too aggressive against college shooters...

Also not taking into account that there is less space in the college game because their 3pt line is shorter. TKF is that you, you sly dog???

Didnt watch the game, but followed the gamecast a bit in the background. Towns with another nice showing on paper. 13/12/1blk. Hit his FTs. No assists though. Still hard to judge him until they really make him their go to guy like Jah and Russell are, but he stays looking like that great all around big man this team needs.

It really is funny how different the top 4 prospects are. Especially when you compare Towns to Jah and Russ to Mudiay. One's strength is another's weakness. All give your team a vastly different direction. I Just think Towns fits any direction.
