We have to draft Shabazz next draft.

Then the following year draft Jahlil Okafor.

Finally, trade MKG for Kawhi Leonard

Kemba - Shabazz - Kawhi - Jahlil - Bismack

Seriously, who is going to mess with that "all cool first name" team???

Okafor isnt going to be available in 2014.

He's a junior in HS.

Crap. There goes my long term master plan.

Back to the drawing board.

Guess we will have to settle with Ilimane Diop.

Sachmo will be stoked.

no big deal.

We will draft Shabazz this year, sign Al-Farouq Aminu in the offseason so we can keep MKG off the bench, and draft this guy: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Mou ... iteh-6366/

Kemba - Shabazz - Al Farouq - Bismack - Mouhammadou

He is definitely worthy of a top 5 pick. He reminds me of Nikola Vucevic but with more length and a better shot blocker. The Maryland strength and conditioning coaches got him eating 6000+ calories a day to gain weight. If Len is raw talent then Biyombo must be unthawed.

Yeah, today was my 2nd viewing. I think he's the 2nd best center right now behind Noel. The only real big knock against him is that he'll get pushed around a lot at the next level. He's already having to settle for jumpers b/c he can't back down a 6'9" guy with girth. He might be able to add weight but something tells me he has a Shawn Bradley frame.

To top it off we should grab one of the Aussie Diops'.

You can never have too many Diops on one team.

Hate to see him get injured, but he really wasn't a target for us anyway

Im beginning to focus more on our potential other first from Portland. I think right now we would be picking 4th and 16th.

I wonder if we could get an already established young star for those two picks?

We probably could if we included Detroit's pick as well.

A 4th pick next year might get us Favors, not really a star but definitely a starter in the league. but I'm not sold on Portland's ability to make the playoffs. I think Portland and Detroit both convey us their picks next year. Then maybe we package our pick with those two and a few other players for Wiggins?

Unless Wiggins flops next year he will be about as untouchable
as Anthony Davis was in this years draft.

Yeah, everyone who doesn't get the number one pick in 14 is just going to be short on Scottie Pippen Jr.

Finally got a good feel for McLemore. My notes from the game against Temple:
+really good shooting form, high vertical on jumpshot
+athletic, high flyer
+good SG size
+unselfish
-tendency to lose his man on D
-isn't focal point on offense
+decent handles
+looks like 50 cent
-too passive
+plays passing lanes well

Still like Shabazz the best though.

how about his passing? Sounds like his passing is similar to Shabazz in that he doesn't really do much of it and it isn't really notable

^there you go. He almost completed a nice bounce pass on the break but it was ruled a kicked ball (it wasn't, the defender made a great play and blocked it with his arm). Other than that, he just played off ball similar to Muhammad, just running from corner to corner along the baseline. Gets the ball, looks for WIthey inside, doesn't have it, just passes back out to the top. He likes to catch his man sleeping and cut to the basket for dunks.

If I had to guess, I'd say McLemore is a better passer than Shabazz b/c by nature he was passive and looking to move the ball well. Shabazz always looks to score when he touches the ball and if he doesn't have anything then he moves the ball on.

Ben averages two assists per game which isn't bad for a college two guard. Shabazz averages eight tenths of an assist per game. Ben should be a decent fit. I don't know how well Bazz and Kemba would fit though. That still though is a problem I would love to have. :D
