No way that's true. Pop wanted an all-star and a prospect in return. Brown is the prospect (same tier as Purtle). There would have to have been another player involved.

ya only Masai had the balls to pull off the Kawhi trade....it's easy now to look back with hindsight, but back then there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding Kawhi

Jaylen Brown has been so freaking overrated ever since he was drafted..mostly by anyone and only those associated with the Boston market. The Spurs made the right move even in hindsight that at the time, DeMar was miles better than Brown. Picks, schmicks..the Spurs can turn any draft pick or undrafted player into a good player so that wasn't of value to them.

lol why does he keep repeating this, not sure if its a joke but he's said this before and maybe some truth to it.

He does think he should be a starter in this league, I always thought of him as Vasquez, a bit selfish. So long as he helps us get a ship though, I could care less.
