Re: Fantasy thread
I have formally offered a trade to BWGOOD - Damian Harris is officially on the trade block. I am looking for a starting RB in return if BWGOOD does not accept my trade!
Praying for Burrow

you are asking me to downgrade at 3 spots on the first trade, and now asking for my 2nd round pick for a RB who is about to get surpassed by the rookie, and a wr who has put up 9 pts combined the last 2 weeks.
Id be happy to work out a fair trade for Claypool, but these proposals man lol
Half serious, half trolling but only because your counter offers were ridiculous. I'm a huge Claypool fan but I'm willing to move him in package for Taylor if you're willing to budge. Hit me up.
My counter off was purposefully ridiculous lol.
Your initial offer was
Lance > Goff
Aiyuk > Sanders
Taylor >>>> Gordon
I couldn't believe what I had witnessed.

Re: Fantasy thread
1. There is no clear timeline on when Lance will take over as starter. Could very well not even happen this year.
2. Aiyuk is gonna be hit or miss all season whereas Sanders has already proven to have a strong rapport with Josh Allen who just so happens to be on one of the most pass friendly offenses in the league. Mostly just included him in the trade because I'm a Niners fan.
3. I'll willing to concede Taylor, but you're overvaluing to an extent based on draft capital. Colts offense has been a mess and outside of outlier receiving work in week 1 he hasn't done ****.

Re: Fantasy thread
Taylor is tied for the most touches with Mike Davis for guys without a TD...
With that said, the issue for Taylor is the Colts use Hines on 3rd down and in their 2 minute offense. That kills him in our PPR league for value
(and yes, I stole the above from the Fantasy Football podcast via The Ringer)

You've over valued both Lance & Aiyuk due to the team that they play for.
Btw, Deebo is available if you give an acceptable offer!

I mean there are a few guys on waivers at qb I like just the same as Goff. Lance has a chance to be higher end should Shanahan grow a pair lol.
Aiyuk is coming around the bend baby, don't you worry about my guy

I'd like to know who those guys are...Big Ben is washed, Wentz has been a scrub for a couple years now, and Matt Ryan looks helpless without Julio. Atleast with Goff you know that he's gonna have to air it out every week because the team is playing from behind. He'll rack up garbage time points.

Matt Ryan is definitely one of the guys I like better. I just think Ridley/Pitts are too good not to start to make a real impact.
Ben does look completely washed, but hes went through stretches like this in his career and yet last year still ended up with 3800 yards and 33 touchdowns. Not willing to write him off when he has such a good receiving corp and now a RB to match.
Tough to get a grip on Wentz, but I think healthy hes about the same as Goff to me. I'm indifferent on those 2. If i'm starting them i'm screwed. As a backup to play bye weeks it doesn't really matter. Matchup based to me.
That doesn't change that fact that the offer wasn't asking me for 1 of those guys. It was asking me for Lance who should be the Niners starter before too much longer.

When did I claim that? I said "Should be the Niners starter before too much longer". Key word "should". Never did I say "will"
The beauty of the NFL is that things happen quickly.
Now we know that Jimmy hasn't always stayed injury free. We also know that hes been playing like s**t. So sure today Jimmy is the starter. If we lose the next two weeks and find ourselves last place in the division, 3 losses straight, things can change in a hurry.
But just curious. Are you trying to make the argument that Goff is worth more than Lance in this league?

Let me know thanks
I'm in that league and it's brutal...it's spread too thin. I took over an old team about 5 years ago with keepers of Peyton Manning who was retiring, AJ Green, who immediately went downhill, Greg Olsen and the Seahawks D.
I think when people leave the league should contract.
Another question, do the worst teams each year get the top picks in the draft? It seems random as I had one of the worst teams a few years and have never had a high pick.
How about that 3-0 Go Buck Yourself team?
I don't know what you expect with a 20 team league but waivers are supposed to be thin. We're trying
our best to replicate real life as possible. That's why you see more trades in our leagues then any other
league people are strategic with their trades and their waiver wire moves.
Also we've had a Draft lottery using a draft lottery simulator which I film and post on the league message
board for years now I have no idea how you have not noticed this or are aware of this after all this time? most
of the league talks about it in the league chat or on the message board after.

Oh, ok. I am in so many leagues I can't pay attention to all that stuff. And it's the hardest one, especially since sometimes you can't even have a backup QB for a bye week.
I am getting better even though I kept Hurts instead of Tannehill. But it depends on injuries. I guess the draft is the hardest to replicate real life if it is random and best teams can get the high picks (usually the first few rookies vastly better picks than others). We have a 16 team dynasty basketball league and we do lotteries in tiers...worst 4 in first tier, next 4 in next, etc.

Nope not in the slightest. All I'm saying is there is no indication that Lance will hold any fantasy value this season. And trust me I'm bummed to say that because I drafted him in my keeper league. Just get the impression that KS is gonna let Jimmy ride this season out and give Lance a year to learn and develop which honestly might be the worst decision considering how bad rookie qb's have looked this year.

Ya I mean, we will see what happens. Jimmys performance last game was pitiful. Hes very fortunate that he plays with such a talented group of receivers who excel in YAC. Even the late game td he threw to Aiyuk which shoulda been a gimme was to the right and Aiyuk had to cut back off the break and adjust.
I'm not sure starting Lance makes sense either at this point, but I know Jimmy isn't taking this team anywhere. And the defense/run game that carried us to the super bowl is a shell of its former self.
