CBS sports gave the Wolves an A+ for Kessler, but they gave about half the picks an A+ LOL. Here's the blurb they gave on him.
22. Minnesota Timberwolves (from Jazz via Grizzlies): C Walker Kessler, Auburn

Kessler was arguably the best defensive player in college basketball this past season while averaging 4.6 blocks per game for an Auburn team that spent part of the season ranked No. 1. He's an incredible rim-protector with the potential to also develop into a comfortable perimeter shooter. Grade: A+

Not a fan of the draft so far. Reaching for players either where there are similar alternatives available later or just reaching for that player in general. Moore mostly had a 2nd round grade

He was considered a first rounder in most of the sites I checked.

Moore might turn out to be better than some of those SG/SF taken from 10 on. I love the guy. He can shoot the hell out of it.

I hope so i don’t hate the pick I hated moving up

Pretty much. He shared duties with Keels, though I'd argue he had the majority of them.

yeah, he was more of a bring the ball up to feed the post than a true creator type PG

honestly, kind of a Beverly type would great outcome

nominally would be the "PG" but really is a complementary player for the star wing that offense really goes through

teams do that kind of move because they have intel from agents or whoever that they might not be there

if Moore worked out for Miami and they made an under the table commitment to draft him at that spot if he fell (which is common place), kind of forces the team's hand

no you're right, I think Bane could be that kind of player too

He just happens to play with ball dominant Ja rather than a ball dominant wing like ANT, so Bane is now seen as a "SG"

its more that neither Bane or Moore really have the explosiveness or pull up shooting to really be the primary ball handler, label it PG if you want, same as Beverly
