Seems like the most polished big left on the board. Has smooth offensive moves. A few McHale type up and unders in the highlight reels. Can maybe stretch the floor. And has a twin brother like Brook. Only negative is he had surgery on both hips two years ago. Viewing him as a Fred Roberts guy we can get some rotation minutes from.

This now means the Jazz will select him at #32.

I'm with Paul here. 33 has to be Filipowski. Also how many 2nd round picks can a team buy? Could the Bucks go that route buying multiple second round picks?

Yeah, I’d probably do it. As a young prospect he already has a frame that could be nba ready, and that could potentially enable him to see the court earlier than expected, but he’s got a lot of basketball development in front of him.

6’11” with a 7’4” wingspan and explosive athleticism. Hopefully, he plays with physicality, has a motor, and can process the game.

We knew our 1st round pick yesterday so of course it was leaked. Oso is our 2nd round pick.

Front office typically keeps a lid on draft process outside of the boss's adult son posting a shot of their big board.

But seems the word was out that the Bucks were in on this AJ

That is what Vecenie has on Oso. Sounds good on paper except a big knock on both picks is physicality, or lack thereof. Also, we better be really confident in our ability to fix their jumpers because neither guy can shoot.

33. Milwaukee Bucks (via Trail Blazers)
Oso Ighodaro | 6-10 big | 21 years old | Marquette
Ighodaro is a bit lower on my board, but he’s a terrific big man who would fit a lot of what Doc Rivers wants from his bigs. He’s versatile on defense with his mobility and has a preternatural basketball IQ that allows him to see the court and make plays all over it with his passing ability out of dribble-handoffs and short-rolls. He’s on the smaller side for a center, but his brain is appealing to teams that already rebound the ball well. That’s the big concern, as Ighodaro is a center who isn’t overly physical in the post or on the glass. But the top-end passing skill here is elite, and he moves well across the board.

Still available on my big board, in order (which went 38 deep this year):

Johnny Furphy
Kyle Filipowski
Harrison Ingram
Tyler Kolek
Jaylen Wells
Kevin McCullar
Adem Bona
Quinten Post
Jamal Shead
Keshad Johnson
Juan Nunez

If we're prioritizing athleticism for #33 like we did for #23, you can probably take a few of these guys off the list. I think Bona makes a ton of sense if the rumors of us moving one of our bigs and trying to get more versatile defensively are true.

Ajay Mitchell or Filipowski at 33 would be fine, but if Veccinie already has Osa at 33, might not even matter.

There’s another Ajay available?

I didn't even think about that part but god that would be incredible.

Oso looked slow and plodding at times IN COLLEGE. He’s just not an NBA level athlete by any stretch. I guess we have to hope he gets taken at 31 or 32??

I think with the new CBA, we are one of several teams that is not allowed to buy any picks.

Chomche
Furphy
Filipowski
Bona
McCullar
Ingram
Tyler Smith
Shead

Honestly fine with any of those guys. If we take Oso, Kolek, or Mogbo, then this is officially my nightmare draft scenario lol.

Any PJ Hall fans out there? Seems like a potential small ball 5 that will do a lot of dirty work.

Kind of hoping we package this pick in a trade. Have zero faith in Horst, and even if I did, Doc won’t play him anyways

My guess is that we trade 33 for future second(s). If we pick I do like Furphy> Filipowski> Kolek> Ajay Mitchell> McCullar> Tyler Smith. Not loving the fit of some of those dudes, but I think they're capable to good
