I am happy that Smitch is fired.

Now is Triano actually going to make a difference? Is he really that much different than Mitchell?

I guess only time can tell but he really doesn't have much to work with in terms of team synergy... it's still going to be a long season.

Sam's system is the only thing this team knows, even under Triano. Hopefully, he makes better in-game adjustments and rotations. That's all I can really ask for right now.

If Triano can implement a defensive system where we can rotate without giving up a 3-pointer where the guy has 5 seconds to shoot it, I'll consider Triano a huge success.

JT is coach, by default
JT leads team to second round in playoff
JT gets extension
Next year JT is to blame for mediocre team
JT is fired

He said there are flaws with the roster just like any other basketball team, but he thinks this team can generate a greater output. I laughed when I heard that.

That's the only thing I'm worried about. I know that Triano's gonna improve this team (cause it's obvious to me that the players gave up on Sam) but I know that there are better options for us next year so I hope that regardless of our success we bring in the right guy next season.

So apparently the players weren't familiarized with any fast break system because Sam didn't practice it. That's reason enough to fire him.
