I guess that's a splinter that's always been there but now that we're losing it's ever so noticeable.......the way i see it there is no reason to play Q anymore at all...he's not affecting anything on the defensive end and offensively he's barely there....Big Baby has been a colossal disappointment for me...Thought it would take some time for him to get into it but i think it's safe to say what we're seeing is pretty much it from him......Earl Clark doesn't play enough to make a difference and he's inconsistent.....those are Stan's go-to guys when we need OFFENSE

D'Antoni led the Knicks out of the playoffs and is still there, so while I agree we are in full-out panic, I don't see how they can Stan this quick.

theres one problem. denver already had a GOOD core of lawson, afflalo and nene. we have anderson and a bunch of bad contracts.

Nah.

Not Stan's fault. I'm sure he's as frustrated as us with his roster.

You could fire Stan I guess, but you would be still stuck with our flawed roster. Stan is the least of our problems.

I don't know if it will make a difference but cut Hughes and sign Rafer Alston....we need a PG that understands the meaning of TEMPO....Skip always liked to run which basically led to our team running with him....Great passer and can break you down 1 on 1....Even at 35 i think he can still give Nelson a run for the starting spot lol.....So tired of our pace man....down 15 with less than 7 minutes to go and we're walking the ball up...no sense of urgency

This is sad.

I just pray we don't make things worse for ourselves, like firing Stan, trading JJ and/or Ryan for a stopgap that won't make a difference, etc. But we probably will. We do dumb things like that.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Oh give me a break. How often has a bench player make a couple good plays in garbage time? All the time. I like von wafer but he and clark were not going to turn around a 21 point loss. Thats delusional. This is the same stupidity that used to be trotted out when Bass didn't get minutes. He was the stud that was going to change games and yet even now he is still a scrub

lets see what Denver really do before saying things like they got better. Playing better and getting better are two different things. Short term better and long term better are two different things.

i wouldn't say it's stupidity.....it's sound to me....These past few games where we couldn't hit a shot and Dwight had trouble inside we needed someone who can attack and get into the teeth of the defense...Wafer can do that at anytime much less Garbage time...his first step is that quick...we could of used that in the Boston games and the hornets game....Clark on the other hand can kick rocks

It has nothing to do with who did what in garbage time. It has to do with recognizing when things are not working and adjusting accordingly.

Stan could have brought in Wafer and Clark and they could have sucked, but at least he would have been trying to make adjustments to better our results. Instead he stayed with a team playing bad and lifeless when he had bullets left in his gun.

Stan's not going anywhere. He's doing the best with what he's got. We have Howard and a bunch of guys who can't create their own shots. Hedo is our best passer, but he's not able to handle for the entire game without his own game suffering. Even then, he's no PG. We are in clear need of a starting PG who can make the right plays or a scorer who can get 20pts a game w/o much help. A trade is needed for us to stay relevant. We could bounce back with this roster, but I think it's pretty clear we would struggle to score against playoff teams since they're all probably going to adopt the Piston/Celts/Hawks style of defense on us.

You do have a good point in that Nene, Afflalo, and Lawson are a good core. I think that Redick, Wafer, and Anderson are a decent starting point. Not saying they are as good as Denver has to work with but if we can move Jameer, Dwight, Hedo, or whomever we need to move to get a couple of good pieces we can become competitive once again. Just need to redo the lineup a little bit.

Lack of effort is the first thing that degrades defense. You can coach effort to a team that has given up.
