Also I believe they should have let Steph play out the year to see if he could stay healthy as he is an unrestricted FA and they could have matched, I would rather run the risk of paying him 12-13 per if he stayed healthy and tore it up than paying him 11 per to constantly be injured and rehabbing ala Grant Hill

So the Hornets got Eric Gordon and the 76ers got Bynum and neither player seems like they're taking the court in the near future.

BUT, can we also look at it like this.

If Bynums knees need that much rest, sit him out a good majority of the year, continue to tank and add picks and then we have the top 2 centers in the league PLUS our draft picks?

When I see "bynum not playing" it screams tanking+ bright future

Otis would have taken Bynum, so Henny is above Otis. Yet, Henny is below Presti since Presti took the Houston deal that was offered to Henny which was better. So, Henny is no genius either.

you can't compare 2 gms like that. these were completely different circumstances.

I sort of agree. But, then again, every board has fans posting similar comparisons with their GM's constantly. That is part of what arguing on forums is about.

Has there been any discussion about our PG/SG situation? We've got Nelson, Ish, Moore, Afflalo, Redick, and Cook. So 35MPG for Ish and then what about the rest??

You left out the fact that no one on this board actually knows what offers were on the table. Basically Morey could stand up and say he was offering ten players and twenty picks at this point, and we'll never know if it was true or not.

Unless Hennigan himself is actually posting here (I'm looking at you, BMP) no one here knows for sure.

I beleive he was mistaken thinking Daquean Cook instead of jones

The incessantly complaining about the FO because of self-biased speculation gets very old very quickly.

It gets to a point when you read a title of a thread and see a poster name, you already know they are going to complain about the FO being inept before reading it.
