Montréal seems to have an edge to make the playoffs but their schedule could catch up to them. When you see how many games they have left its a grind to end the year. We have four road games and three at home. Plenty of time between games with no less than six days between games. Our final two games have nearly two weeks between them. If we somehow stay in the race those days off could be well used.

So what's the deal with rochez, is he healthy? ...and Carlos, dude, I want to like you brother but you're killing me.

Rochez is healthy but he has had all sorts of personal issues. He was also stuck in New Zealand for over month because of passport problems, he lost his passport last minute and then on the way back they rejected his newly issued one, as a result lost his fitness. He also has had problems adjusting to US life coming from Central America. Indications are that he has had problems adjusting to how much more serious Adrian Heath takes practices and conditioning. Needless to say, as of right now he has been a major disappointment and Orlando City took a big chance on him making him a designated player. Big strikeout so far.

Rivas is soo freaking fast and talented but man he is like wild pony. He is really raw and really needs to refine his game if he is going to make a big impact. Needs to play smarter.

We were pretty short handed last night. I forgot we didn't have Rivas either. I think the guys played hard but were never a threat to score. Once we gave up the goal it was over. Sporting will probably kill us but it will be nice to play with a more complete roster. It would be great to get Break back.

what are the odds of still making the playoffs it looks like montreal would have to lose out..and we'd have to win all the remaining games?? is it even possible hypothetically...

Kaka' injured his leg during international play. He and Darwin both this time around.

As far as the playoffs go I don't think were mathematically eliminated but we are more likely to lose every remaining game than win out. It would need to be one hell of a turn around.

At least we get to see our boy this week.

On some more positive notes, Copa America Centenario has been confirmed and it will take place in the U.S. Reports indicate that Orlando is pushing hard to be one of the major hosts.

That'd be huge for the city and for soccer in Central Florida

Needed that victory badly.

Zusi had a bunch of fans show up in Kansas City gear, but our fans drowned out their noise pretty well.

As soon as that set piece was struck I knew one of our guys was going to get a clean header on it. Beautiful ball, and Winter finally proves his worth. By far his best match.

I'm still pissed at Neal for missing that gimmie with his weak foot that would have put us up 2-0. He's botched some easy goal scoring chances and I don't like him starting even when we're short-handed.

We got pretty lucky on a few of KC's missed chances, but it was overdue considering how badly we've been getting burned over the past 2 months.

Thank God Brek is back. His first touch being an assist had the fans going nuts. We needed that. Nice to have Rochez finally pop his MLS cherry.

Winter's goal for his brace was a fantastic poke shot. Not easy.

The Mateos flop/dive on Dom was disgraceful. We've got a bad enough reputation as is, don't need David pulling that. He was cramping up too which I'm sure added reason for him to delay the match.

We're tied with Montreal for 6th, but they've got 4 extra games than us at the moment, and they're getting it together with Drogba fitting in. We're both on 32 points.

Funny enough, 5th place Toronto is actually back in our range again. They've got 37 points but have played just 2 fewer games than us. They could choke.

If we can somehow get positive road results at Chicago and in New Jersey, that October 3rd home match against Montreal is going to be intense.

Matos did make an As* of himself. It was cool to see Dom.

Staying alive in the hunt.

Nice to get a late victory. Really physical match.

Brek, Rochez, Ceren all were big on that goal. All 3 substitutes.

Sucks that Toronto, Montreal, and NYCFC all won today as well.

Let's see if we can get a good result in New Jersey next Friday.

We do some schedule watching now.

Montreal hosts Chicago on Wednesday. Would be really nice if the Fire could somehow nab a road win.

Rochez has serious upside.

Tally was huge last night, he brought a good intensity.

Too long between home games.

Rivas was a little better I think. He could be damn dangerous if he ever figures it out but gives the ball away too easy. With both he and Rochez the future could be bright.

Wow finally got our crap together but it's probably too late. Rochez has been marvelous finally showing why they paid such a high price. Winter finally feeling comfortable. Brek has been dearly missed and needed. Ramos being back has been huge too.
