that's about it

IME probs wants more defense and less shooting.

Too hard to coach a team complex offenses when there are too many options.

Tatum, Brown, Smart or Timelord, Grant, Richardson and Kanter

The problem is the rest.

Horford is losing his legs and being run into the ground. 35 years old and 30 minutes a game is way too much. 28% from 3 on 4.5 attempts per game just shows that to be true.

Schroder sucks. He pounds the air out of the ball, has no range and is a weak as hell defender. Having him and tatum both on the flor dribbling the **** out the ball has a huge negative impact in ball movment and cutting.

Romeo, plays hard on defense, a zero on offense.

Other young guys are hard to determine as they never get minutes

Brad needs to make a move to FORCE Ime to adjust the lineups. Bring in a starter at SG, SF.

Everyone was saying this to Danny when Brad wouldn’t play certain guys. It was selfish of Brad and now Ime , as well. ( in my opinion).

Boston general fans/ media frighten me. Jays have hardly any help and NOW it’s the Jays can’t play together.
We blew a chance for the finals not too long ago when we had Hayward( sometimes) a bit better Kemba..
Just Hayward alone being replaced in the lineup with anyone who is a poor shooter .. we’re not supposed to be good.

Sounds to me like Stevens is looking to make an impactful move and isn't too concerned with minor adjustments. Makes sense.

Small change: Send Schroder out on a Fournier type of deal from last year so whoever has a TPE gets him for 2 2nds.
This is basically punting on the little hopes that we had for this year. Give the youngsters more playing time to see if they sink or swim and get some future 2nds to play with.

Medium change: A three-way deal with Dallas and Detriot with Grant and filler going to Dallas... Hardaway, a 1st (from DAL), Nesmith and Hernangomez to Detriot,,, Kleber to Boston.
Boston gets decent but not great multi-dimensional big in who can stretch the floor and give us a bit of insurance in case Horford gets moved out in a mega-deal or released to bring in a FA.

Big Change: A three-way deal with the Spurs with Murray coming to Boston, Schroder going to a third team with a TPE for two 2nds, those 2nds, Smart and whatever kids/picks/swaps they want to SAS.
Boston finally gets a young PG who fits "the Jays" timeline.

Encouraging quotes here from Brad. He ain't stupid. He realizes that the roster needs a shakeup and he also realizes that the league (and especially the east) is deeper and more competitive from top to bottom than it's been in a long time. So in order to actually compete at the top, you have to be GOOD, which obviously we aren't right now.

I also like the sense of humor with the last quote about "what do you think i do all day?" He has a pretty likable personality.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Brad Stevens learned from the great one Danny Ainge. Say a lot but say absolutely nothing.

De'Aaron Fox is the most likely trade target that the Celtics could get without giving up either Jay in my opinion with a package of vets, young players and picks. I'm just not that high on him.

This quote has been debunked as fake pretty sure, but wouldn't be surprised if Fox got shipped out. He's been showing flat out apathy this year, dude probably wants out.

The kid could very easily be negative value in short-order. No defense, can't hit a 3. He's an inefficient scorer who isn't a big playmaker for his teammates.

He's Schroder on the contract that Schroder thought he should have.

No thanks. I barely want the Schroder we have, let alone the expensive version.

For those who can't tell, this is him essentially saying they're going to do nothing that's going to impact their pursuit of Beal

On the pros:
Came into legue as a known playmaker and passer
ultra athletic
young
loads of potential still there
I believe some experience with our guys from team USA

Cons:
Small
Not a great defender
not a great shooter

As a side note, he plays for the Kings and has had to be the man, taking a step back and being part of something bigger probably works wonders.
