If the owners have given the okay to spend .. why the **** aren’t u spending .. Free agency Brad Stevens grade F

i feel like it's literally impossible for the clippers to give all these guys consistent rotation minutes

2 george
3 zubac
4 reggie jackson
5 john wall
6 morris
7 powell
8 batum
9 kennard
10 covington
11 Mann

I mean, c'mon. there's gonna have to be some type of consolidation going on.

Plus there's BJ Boston and Amir Coffey (just resigned for 3 yrs, $11 mil)

I feel like either powell, covington, kennard or morris gotta go..i doubt it's powell, he's their 3rd best scorer. covington and morris are just too similar - and also both pretty similar to Batum. they just resigned batum - he's staying. If they move covington or morris, that could be a TPE option..

They're saying it's portion of the MLE. Don't know for sure how much they have left.

lol you do know that free agency just opened up 5 hours ago, right? and he also can't just force players to sign with us.

Reports are they’re waiting for Gallinari — who is still under contract with SAS for another week or so — to decide between their offer and Chicago’s.

You can’t spend money without someone agreeing to sign with you.

No one’s signing for vet min yet, so presumably after offering the TPMLE to Gallo there’s nothing to do but wait for now. Unless you want the team to operate in bad faith, which there hasn’t been any reporting on tonight.

Okay this isn’t fun, I’m going to let the chronically impatient fill up a few pages overnight. Have at it, and if this is your first free agency day please take a few notes to learn from the experience it’s actually not like Christmas morning or whatever it can take days — yes, the horror! days!

Look, I'll just say this. Over the last year or 2, these are some players who always seem to make every damn shot against us....

Gallo
Oubre
Fournier

OPJ also hit damn near every shot in the finals against us.

Seth Curry too, but he hits shots against everyone.

Josh Hart has also shot really good against us, including that time the pelicans beat us in heartbreaking fashion in 2020-2021..

All of these players could possibly be available, either with the TPE or MLE.

TJ Warren
Kevin Durant
Jae Crowder
Lonnie Walker

There was also rumors that we were trying to move up into the 1st round of the draft last week..

Brad has been working. But he can't force teams to trade with him, and he can't force free agents to sign with us. He's doing the best he can. Only his second year on the job, and his first year on the job we got to the NBA finals (despite having the 19th highest payroll and the 13th highest odds of winning the title in the preseason)

Well I did say like a 192 pages ago that One virtue I do not have is patience.

Tomorrow I will wake up be 50 pages behind read them all for 2 hours and find we still don't have anyone..

These are the dark times lol
