Get in there, Sixers!

For what? They're not going to take on bad salary, which is really the only role for additional teams to play in the trade.

Miami could take back Anderson no problem, I believe, but they don't want to because of the years remaining on his deal.

I like that Ingram to Raptors move

Warriors didn't overpay, Miami got a pick in this deep draft plus Wiggins guys well there on both ends and has more offensive potential than Terry and could end up being their 2nd leading scorer.

sixers hoops wrote:The whole thing is a mess. He built this team of old, injury prone players, who are playing about as much as they always do. They sign KJ as trade fodder to add to this masterpiece, but have to pay to dump him as the season is crumbling away. Meanwhile, Lowry, Gordon, Embiid, Drummond, and George are always hurt because they are old, and always hurt anyway. He has to go back to the drawing board every season or two because none of these plans work, yet somehow we are going to hang on to PG. Instead of moving PG now, we will prob move picks in a year or two to have somebody take him off of our hands.

You're absolutely right. Morey is making the best out of a horrible sitaution. But he has to be better at creating higher probability opportunities. Once Joel's knee became degenerative, he should have traded him. We are just wasting time with him on the team. I love Joel, but he's done being the best player on a championship caliber team.

Just look at how many great things went our way this year? Yabu, Bonna, Edwards, and McCain. We are still mediocre at best. It's because Embiid isn't playing, and even when he does, he isn't the same MVP Embiid.

Wow I didn’t realize Mark Williams made that kind of jump. Lakers spent a lot on him.

Warriors fans should be sad because even though Jimmy agreed to go there and sign an extension, he wanted to go to the Suns more. #paulgeorgelogic

The Hornets, like the Wizards, just seem like a laundry money operation, to me, at this point.

I remember discussing on this forum how getting Ingram would've cost so much more than that 1-2 years ago.

First thing when hearing the news was to read mjkvol's breakdown of the deal.

Second thing that came to mind was the Head Podcaster's tantrum to Knecht botching a play last week.

I mean, at that point we thought he could be valuable for other teams.

Now his perception is "Younger Tobias Harris" on an expiring, who expects to get a Big extension. Obviously, his value would tank

It could be argued the Lakers spent more for Mark Williams than they did for Luka.

Wonder if CHA would take Gordon and a 2nd for Reddish btw.

Not really. AD is still a massively valuable piece as a top-10 player in the league. They gave up a lot for it being Mark Williams. One of the deals where they could come away looking like geniuses if he can ever stay healthy though.

If we had Adam Silver as a de facto Associate GM like the Lakers, we would get plenty of guys in their prime.

Morey will try to move someone for a second rounder then tell us that plus the second rounder in the Caleb trade offsets the seconds we wasted with getting under the tax moving KJ. Its Sixers math.
