Jaime, Jovic and some firsts?

OKC or Houston would offer 6+ picks and that would be that.

If they fall short of a chip, that would be reason to consider.

Bigger point, any team with an abundance of picks would outbid Mia.

Disagree on OKC, he and SGA would be a terrible fit. If they unload the clip it’s going to be for the perfect player for their build.

They very well could, well have 4 1sts, are teams really going to send more than that for Ja? Would we even be willing to do that? We honestly don’t know

Only three in 37 years and none in the first 16? What about Ronnie Siklay? He was never an Allstar? What about Harold Minor? The Heat didn't draft him?

Harold Miner wasn’t that good. He did win two dunk contests though. Seikaly was pretty good, but not good enough in an era of hall of fame centers. Both Glen Rice and Steve Smith became all stars after being traded by the Heat. Those were the three best Heat players of the early days. They were all gone before the start of Riley’s first season as coach (only Glen Rice played for Riley in the preseason, the others were traded a year before).

After Riley showed up the Heat didn’t have many draft picks.

Get in his ear champ, no Diddy. He can come play under true leadership in Edrice, Booker but better in Herro, Kareem with a 3 in Ware, under who Lakers/Bulls fans think Phil Jackson is in Spo. And that’s not even to mention whatever star guard follows him to Miami when he comes.

I’m perfectly fine finishing the 9th or 10th seed, getting knocked in the play in and getting a lottery pick. Miami has moveable contracts.

Stranger things have happening in this league in the lottery. Miami is in purgatory right now, but something is going to happen decisively here in the next 18 months.

I think we have to take a shot at either the Trae Young's or the Ja Morant's of the world. Both have question marks around them but are clearly very talented and are legit borderline superstars when locked in. Both are only still in their mid 20s.

Trae/Herro or Ja/Herro would probably make for the best backcourt in the NBA (offensively)
