Outside of imagined hauls where we take these other teams for all they're worth so that they can move up, this was my preferred outcome.

Love adding a do everything, freak athlete that's gonna be in the lab every day with Tyrese working on his game. We've got a chance to do some real culture building with those 2 and McCain for the next era.

Now figure out a way to get another pick so we can get Coward or CMB and I'll be really excited.

Markkanen is going to be like, “wtf is wrong with this guy’s shot selection?”

Tre Johnson likes to project that he lives in the gym, and to be fair, he does.

But what I don’t understand is why he hasn’t addressed his weaknesses. He’s got the frame to add muscle and get stronger, which would go a long way toward improving his defense and ability to get to the rim.

Loved hearing that their family came from nothing. That hard work, hunger, and drive to get better will potentially catapult him to an all star level type player. Definitely good for the culture and a great locker room guy.

I thought this was Iverson Armband committing all the way for a second

I get it. When you like a guy with conviction, it’s tough to see your team go a different direction. You just have to hope you’re wrong, which sucks.

Wow. Ace is stunned and almost in tears.

If Ace does become good, I can't wait to say "We overthought it" for like the next 5 years.

Silver lining. We haven't had a new catchphrase since find another slant.

Danny Ainge already has a slice of humble pie ready for Ace Bailey. Utah was the absolute worst landing spot for him. Markannen, Cody Williams, Hendricks, Sensabaugh, Filipowski. Ace has an uphill climb to even see the floor.

Tre + Bub is a very interesting young guard combo. They are gonna be a top League Pass team for me pre-all star break.
