Come on that was an aberration... he had never did anything remotely close to that prior.

Please click this link and you will understand why I do not want Arenas anywhere near our locker room:

Dude, you're such a little hypocrite at times. You want Baron Davis on the Knicks, a well known gang member who's always been affiliated with the bloods, but you judge Gilbert Arenas for having a gun for protection of his life? Yeah, I'm sure a gang sign throwing Baron Davis never packed heat before. The dude is from L.A, I bet he's done alot worse than just carry a gun before making it to the NBA. But yeah, none of that matters to me in regards to Baron Davis or Gilbert Arenas, because I don't live with these men. If they can become great teammates and help the team, that's all that matters. If they act up, they get cut. It's as simple as that. But lets not sit here and attack Gilbert for having a gun to protect himself at all times, but then, on the other hand, BEG for a gang banging Baron Davis. Why not throw Baron Davis under the bus for throwing up the blood sign? Some role model for these kids watching NBA games huh?

Oh come on. The guy is a total loon. He has no respect for anyone. He is completely self-destructive. Combine all of his negative traits with gunplay and you tell me you "know' for a fact Davis packs heat and that's your comparison?

No, not only was Arenas packing, he was waving it around the locker room. Yeah, real discreet way to protect yourself at all times with your concealed weapon. And he is so effed up that when he returned from his suspension he thought it was really hip and funny to goof on the court by making gun symbols with his hands on the court.

He's a fakking idiot.

The gun incident was an aberration as far as Arenas' character is concerned. We gave Spree a second shot... so giving Arenas one wouldn't bother me. Guys might go down with injury and both of these guys could be gone if that were to happen further along. You can always just cut Gil if it doesn't work out.

when did the knicks become the new york jets?

This sold me on Arenas, I want him now.

Gilbert Arenas? What kind of team are you guys trying to run? I can barely accept having BD here (and that's because of need) but Arenas...I don't want this clown in the locker room or on the court, and there really should be no need to explain why.

I'd rather have Iverson than Arenas and that's not saying much.

hey guys just want to say that shumpert looks GOOOOD. nice pick up. that being said unless you want to take a chance on someone who has lost what little explosiveness they had and doesn't get to the line like they used too and is half the player they used to be then by all means go on ahead and pick up arenas. at this stage in their careers i'd say... bibby = arenas
THIS MAGIC FAN HAS HIS HEAD HELD HIGH... NO MATTER WHAT.

Magic fan here and I'm telling you guys want nothing to do with him he makes Chris Duhon look good. He takes way to many stupid shots and his quick step that made him so good is long gone and never going to be seen again only thing he will bring is bad shooting(yeah he still looks for his shot first) and hope that he will have a good game that will never come...

I don't think Scalabrine can make Dudu look good.

This. I honestly don't care about his history all that much, but he looked done in ORL. Just get Baron here and were good.

Seeing old white man Stern's big head on a black athlete's body just feels disturbing to me. I almost expect to find him caught in a spider web screaming "Help me! Help me!"
