It seems like this old geezer was setup by this tramp. Let's not forget that his family is suing her for stealing money and she had an incentive to set this guy up to say absurd things. Sterling had bought this groupie a Ferrari, 2 Bentleys, a Range Rover and a $1.8M apartment that she tried to claim title to.

If you followed the NBA, this shouldn't be news. This was in no way a set up where he was goaded into saying something he didn't believe. This was just finally concrete proof of what most of us should know.

You just made an inverted argument. My point was that Sterling is a nut and a strict exception of the Jewish community. The fact that statistically speaking, the majority of Jews are emphatically liberal and have supported the democratic party in large numbers in nearly every election in the past hundred years is a testament to that. Moreover, Jews were disproportionally involved in the civil rights movement in the 1960s and stood side by side with African Americans in protest against the American government.

To make generalizations about Jews based on the actions of one individual is simply skewed.

Jewish people are like the least likely group in American culture to marry outside of their religion. Indian ppl may be close. The rate of intermarriage among the American Jewish population is roughly 58 percent and has been gradually increasing.

David Stern IMO would have acted a little faster with atleast banning Sterling to anymore games upon verification of the alleged tapes. The allegations are to harsh and severe for Silver not to, in the minimum capacity, ban him from attending anymore matches until further notice.

He's still learning how to handle situations but he dropped the ball big time on this one. He has shown that in crucial situations as these, he crumbles under pressure. Horrible start as the commissioner of the NBA.

He is right to the extent that conservative factions of most racial group do marry into there communities and the majority of 1st generation Canadian tend to marry within the racial community. That radically changes with 2nd and 3rd generations.

But even then religion plays a part if Utah got the 1st pick in the draft who would they pick? Wiggins, Embid or Parker all about equal as players and potential but I can guarantee the would select Parker even if there evaluations said one or both are the BPA. Parker is Mormon and Utah stands a far better chance of retaining him long term than either of the others. Put Toronto in the same situation and we would choose Wiggins.
