It would explain Noah going around telling random people Melo's staying in NY at LAX earlier today...
I am sorry I dont believe any of that, however if true this pretty much puts the nail in the coffin of the "we must have our guys recruit". Unless you have a long standing relationship with the guys as James, Wade, Bosh did and can plan it out years in advance its a waste. Again..if true...which I dont think any of it is.
I promise you its true.
I wouldn't put too much effort in convincing anyone here..
If doesn't benefit the bulls 1000%, they ain't having nor hearing it..

It almost feels like the CBA is directly aimed at screwing us lol first that whole poison pill thing now this

Rose had the same meniscus injury as Westbrook.
The big injury was the ACL and Rose came back from that and looked fine athletically.

He was just rusty during the regular season.
ACL is literally worst thing that can happen to you. Just being realistic. Melo knows how big of a risk Rose is.

Honestly, I feel the Bulls still have a legit shot at Carmelo. It's not over until it's over.

Why? Melo was always going to end up in NY or LA ... Once this exercise is over, we can continue with some serious business like pursuing Love or bringing Mirotic over ...

I promise you its true. Also Melo will inform teams by late Monday of his decision officially. Doesn't mean he won't tell his people earlier though.

If it is true I swear to Jehovah I will strangle me some kittens and feed the corpses to my pet python
He likely is going back to New York, but what NT said is just absurd.
What good is it going to do Phil to know what all these teams pitch is? And recruiting player's on that team? None of them are FA next year when New York has cap space.
It's a bunch of nonsense.

You literally are clueless. Have fun on your Houston Rockets board.

I feel worse about getting Kevin Love than Carmelo. Melo is so close, which is what hurts the most.

It's amazing isn't. Westbrook has three surgeries on the same knee comes back fine no worries. Rose has one surgery with the same injury as Westbrook yet Rose is DONE. LOL
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

Microfracture surgery on your knees is the worst.
ACL injuries are pretty common these days and players can come back from it. Athletically, Rose didn't look any different after the surgery. His main problem was just rust and habit. He looked like a player who hadn't played a real game in a year and change.

Years ago that was true. Today, not as much but there is zero doubt that is a huge huge concern for him. After Amare no doubt. Dwight's bad back might have been a big concern too.
