So lucky to be down just 9. This is so typical of this group.

We are getting bottles. Locked the **** up hard. Can’t get nothing in the paint. Can’t get the Jays on their spots. Great D by Philly.

Let’s hope that snaps Tatum’s funk there.

Nonsense. We’ve missed heaps of open shots

Watch the game. Physical defense, NOTHING in the paint. Smart taking open 3pt shots is what they are giving up. Jaylen hasnt had a single open shot, Tatum has had one.

Tatum and Horford have missed multiple open 3s.

The Celtics have cooked multiple fast break opportunities with awful decision making.

That's a half I can say was mostly destroyed by bad offense..or bricks when it was good. Not good enough. Defense was ok.

It's hard to set the bar much lower than that so you're probably right.

Yeah the way she's calling this game is pretty wild. It's just blatant and embarrassing

It's nice but he has to score Boston wants a chance.

I definitely agree. I just don't like that he's seen as not trying or showing up. he has got to score, no doubt, i just think he's trying out there.

What do you expect him to do against a dude who's 3-4 inches taller, also longer and is shooting mostly mid range j's?

He's always been pretty decent on him in general
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

One positive is that Jaylen never picked up another foul after those two quick ones. At least that's not a concern.

Yeah. We won't win with a 3-19 game from him.

If Tatum was just mediocre instead of sucking we'd be closer if not winning.

After lambasting Malcolm for Broghogging the ball, I must say I dunno where we’d be without him. Need Tatum, Horf, Grant, and White to pick it up on offense.

Yea, but in the last 3-4 years, Embiid's been shooting mostly mid range Js, which are much harder to defend. Before, he was playing on the post.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Yeah he's definitely trying but he can't put the ball in the hoop.

I know Boston overcame a seven-point effort by Tatum game two but that's not the norm and unless he starts playing like Tatum it's going to be tough

Tatum still has no moves when you body him up...just throwing up weak **** over and over again.

Tatum dribbles too much and gives enough time for the defenders to set in. Trade him for a big while his value still high. He shows up every 5 games or so.

Ya I don't want to hear about "well he's doing other stuff!" Not in the playoffs, that doesn't fly anymore. I'm sure he's trying, that's not the benchmark. He has to be better.

And you know what? I have faith he will be. There's a Tatum run coming.

Sixers should be up a lot more. Feel good about our chances

He went out of his way to avoid contesting a couple of times because of those fouls. Expect he'll be more aggressive right from the start of the third.
