All takes are schtick now from me. Got it bro.

You've been very inclined recently to complain about literally anything you can sink your teeth into even though we both know you have a much better understanding of hoops than some of these takes would suggest.

So if the shoe fits...

I mean.. 23 turnovers and couldn’t shoot the basketball tonight.

I complain about getting a real point guard for 3 seasons now. How Isaac is overvalued (did nothing in this game). How Carter is worthless (he was in this one too).

Kinda justified teeth sinking complaints….

But yeah just schtick here.

Like I said…

You’re not as painfully obvious about it as a few of the other posters who literally only show up when the Magic lose, but I’d venture a guess that the vast majority of your posts this entire season (and really last season too) have just been you complaining.

And sometimes, whether you want to admit it or not, that complaining has veered off the reasonable path and onto just a silly path. Just complaining for the sake of it.

To the point where it comes off like you’re doing schtick.

I have a very strong inclination, especially since you watched the last three games, that you know why Queen was in the game at the end there and why it wasn’t a bad decision, even though Herro made the shot.

I just want Paolo back. I would take 10 restricted minutes of him than some of our players on the bench.

Yeah because unlike most posters I’m not really “complaining” after wins or losses regardless of outcome. It’s not really my style tbh. There are too many factors involved throughout a game. The macro level system things I care about.

I point out lack of decision making that leads to these outcomes well beforehand. Yeah, it comes off as complaining but it’s pretty obvious after the fact.

You will have games like they had against the Celtics and games like tonight. The chances are that when the FO decides to forgo something like acquiring a starting point guard and triples down on the 2 guard 3&D backcourt with Paolo/Franz you will have problems like getting 23 turnovers without them. Maybe not as bad WITH them but also not great. It’s putting the cart before the horse and reinventing a system instead of just doing what’s obvious.

I do not care what anybody tells me, Cole Anthony lost us this game with his garbage low IQ bull$hit. This guy is a parasite eating this team from the inside out. Get him the fk off my team. Cory Joseph came in and at least was an adult and didnt try to be a fking hero every single play. Sick to fking death of watching this loser run around like a muppet and blow leads. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I don't think that exact thing was schticky from Matic, just nothing this game showed AB was doing good defending at all. Actually was getting destroyed on any sort of pick. Last we saw of him he was fouling.

Herro just hit a great shot. Maybe we should've done everything to deny him. Stunt KCP at him from the corner there maybe.

I think the Bucks (?) game was similar where KCP could've disrupted Lillard and get it in the hands of some role guy, but he stayed on him.

The Magic need shooting, but the Magic are also playing pretty well for missing their two best players.

They are going to lose a bunch of games even when they are all healthy, it's basketball. Tomorrow will be extremely hard, it would be even if fully healthy.

Not really much else to say.

OK actually I will say if Tatum and Butler don't get sick we are probably on a 6 game losing streak. Not sure how that fits into what I'm saying. No sympathy because we are hurt, but it is true lol.

Yeah it's really sad, he was on his way to being one of the best defenders of all time. That's no exaggeration he was that good.

He’s not even just playing bad, he doesn’t even look like himself out there..

Knowing this FO, I wonder if we’ll see him get shut down for a bit? Maybe after Paolo comes back?

When the team play weeks and weeks worth of games without two all-star caliber players, everything you think you know about the long-term outlook of the team kind of goes out the window, right?

I don’t really see the point in making sweeping proclamations about what this team is or isn’t when they’re currently in the midst of and going to end up playing like 30 games without Paolo and 20-25 games without Franz and those two stretches of missed games also significantly overlapped.

I also notice that you haven’t really addressed the “Queen shouldn’t have been in the game” thing at all which was the impetus for this entire conversation in the first place.

Herro hit a great shot and Queen played good defense.

I understand why Queen was in over AB because of the nature of the game. I also get why they would target him in that situation though.

It wasn’t really about that possession. It was more about the bad second unit time and 3-4 poor shot making decisions leading up to that.

But Orlando also had no business winning this basketball game.

Herro is their best offensive player. They weren't targeting Queen.

Kinda.

This is also assuming that everything you saw last season at full health also wasn’t a complete lie right?

Was Orlando a great amazing 3-point shooting perfectly run offense last season or did I miss that part?

It’s like the FO not addressing glaringly obvious roster issues and saying “yeah we weren’t healthy we won’t move anyone, we know nothing” like everyone is an idiot and doesn’t know how basketball works or skill sets materialize out of thin air to justify things.

Return to Orlando Magic
