I dont fully believe the science side of it, because matter/gravity/atoms all just didnt happen.

Why?

Are you serious right now? Nobody knows the reason why we are here, or how we got here. All we have is Theorys. **** just doesnt happen. If i leave my room, and come back and there is a bottle of water on my dressor that i didnt put there, did it magically end up there? Or did somebody put it there?

Bottles of water just don't appear out of thin air, the same way that Meteors/Planets and Atoms dont appear out of thin air. Where the **** did Dinosaurs come from? Did they fly here from another planet? Did they spawn from Atoms? Or were they put there?

Just saying you can't turn the gap (gap = what we don't know) into God and just say, "Well it just happened". One needs to realize there are limits to what we know, and what we can know at this time. And also, the only thing we can really know is what is not (a negative), by definition. However, we also have issue with not being able to prove negatives either. So, what do we really know? It all comes down to what you can put together via reason, and what sources of authority you trust.

In regards to your comment, it sounds like you are a theist by modern definition (believe that there is a higher power), but just not affiliated with any belief system. An atheist would say that it just happened, and was unguided, and it is all one giant accident.

I dont know if its true but It is crazy to think about, all these Conspiracy theories are crazy and sometimes show some valid points about things but well never know.

It might show valid points if you were an absolute imbecile (I'm not implying you are).

I agree with Rich. I think the whole big bang and evolution theories are just that, theories. They arent facts so nobody should claim they are by any means. On the flip side just because you cant explain something yet doesnt mean that God automatically is responsible. Thats not saying there isnt a God or he didnt do these things, but we just dont know for sure at this time. There are so many things we just cannot fully explain.

The same thing with Aliens and my crop circle thread. Sure every crop circle could be made by humans, but maybe some arent. Point is we dont know for sure. Only a few crop circles have been claimed by people. ALL the others either arent claimed by their makers or were made by something else.

Point is there is no 100% FACTS with alot of these things. People just need to chalk it up to WE DONT KNOW FOR SURE. Nobody can prove the Big Bang is 100% fact, same with Evolution, same with GOD!!

In this world, people conspire every day to get the world to be conformed to their ideals on what it should be. Alliances get formed, back room deals are made, and things happen. Also, besides this is systems that are self-organizing that seek to preserve themselves, and some which seek to grow. In these self-organizing systems, it looks like there is some sort of entity controlling them, but you won't find it. And the conspiring and self-organizing systems, and good old luck, happens to come together to create what we call history. Because people can't seem to handle a world without some entity on top pulling all the strings, people will make up their own theories and look for conspiracies in them. Better to have a devil you can bargain with, rather than a trainwreck spiraling out of control you can't.

And, in this pile is the Illuminati.

^That's actually not true. In Real Life there's never ever really a Black & White cause and effect. Each decision and route that has been taken by every living being from the dawn of time has had an effect on another. Outside forces can and have influenced decisions, and many times an answer can have both factual and false elements to it at the same time.

No prob my man, thanks for the assist to by providing Deeez with the Yahoo article I was referring to. :)

Btw, PM the link to your response in this Thread when you get back...I look forward to reading it, but will likely miss it if you don't PM me the link to the post. :)

--Mags

P.S. Yeah, we likely might. I wouldn't be surprised though if we end up with rapid expansion into Space around 2050 or so. Ion Drives are already getting a lot of steam with advancements and it's only 2010. Who knows when the next Drive breakthrough will come not too long after that. :)

Yeah, maybe one day we can shorten the trip to only a couple of hundred-thousand years. :P

^They're actually exploring and theorizing on a set of Drives that will use Folded Space to travel. It would literally make such long distance travel like walking across the street.
