How are we screwed? We get 2 go-to scorers, a point-forward back in Hedo, and our backcourt is ridiculously awesome

Sure we could have gotten a bit more with Gortat, but honestly, something had to be done... Hedo's contract isn't the best thing ever, but the chemistry should be enough to get him to play his role again on this team... maybe not as well as he did 2 years ago, but having a point-forward on this team is huge

And Gil and Richardson gives us that perimeter go-to ability we so lacked the past 2 years

He'll start eventually. He is the only one that actually helps Dwight. Richardson more of a fastbreak guy and Arenas just does it on his own.

i wouldn't be too sure about that....Hedo can still play good minutes off the bench and you know Stan likes to go with an All-Bench lineup....i much rather have Hedo handle the ball than non-Aggressive Duhon

I really wouldn't bench Nelson, no matter how bad he's playing. The reason for this is because he just can't generate his offense with bench players. He needs to be playing with Dwight or Bass (preferrably the former), and if he's in the game with them not in there, he should be splitting the ball-handling duties with Arenas.

Actually, same for Hedo. Those three should share the bulk of their time on the floor together. Arenas should spend more time with the second unit (e.g. beginning of the 2nd and 4th quarters) due to his being able to create. J-Rich might relish being on the court with him as well.

If I'm Stan, I'd probably pull Arenas & J-Rich both off the floor around the 5-6 minute mark in the 1st and 3rd quarters and insert Redick/Hedo.

haha, like i said...Randolph is getting no PT on the Knicks, and has already been mentioned in trade rumors...the Knicks have also been mentioned to be searching for both a backup PG and another big...in the trade machine it doesnt work because NY takes on too much salary, but i'm not sure if they could send cash with Randolph to even it out, im not sure how that works

Our front court is awesome? to start we get Hedo contract and don`t unload Duhon,second we trade Gortat multiple teams would give us something better for him, we have no backup Center and to top that we give a first round pick.

I think its gonna help us with our record but in the playoffs both Boston and the Heat can still beat us then we end up losin Dwight unless some how Otis can trade Hedo down the road
