It wouldn't surprise me to see NO take Marshall at 10

We may be looking at possibly Sullinger with that pick.
And we may be EXTREMELY lucky with Utah losing that toss.
I don't see anybody before 11 wanting (or needing) Marshall.

Hornets, they could easily forget about Bellinelli, retain Gordon and ad, Robinson/Drummond at 4 and Marshall at 10.

Marshall-Gordon-Ariza-Robinson-Okafor
Jack-Vásquez-Henry-Aminu-Ayon-Smith

I'd go with Beal/Barnes at 6 and TJones or Sully at 11, which one is available.

righ now I think, Beal+TJones would be a nice pair to add.

Warriors at 7, if they retain it, it's a really posible pick for him.

Although I wouldn't go with Marshall even if he's available at 11, I think that the starting PG of the Blazers should be a FA, from Deron to DJ Augustin, passing by, Nash, Dragic, someone of this group, I'd prefer to draft a big man with 11 if I am Blazers GM after securing Barnes/Beal with 6, if you pick a big with 6, like, TRob or Drummond, you can grab JLamb or Rivers with 11.

So,...

Beal/Barnes+TJones/Leonard or Robinson/Drummond+JLamb/Rivers

any pair would be fine.

I wouldn't draft TZeller at the top14, and I think Henson would be off the board at 11, Detroit most likely, so I don't put them there.

As long as it's not Barnes, I'm happy. I just don't see it with him. Drummond or Beal, and I'm happy.

If i could select any couple it'll be Beal+TJones, if Crawford leaves and you could sign Nash+Asik, it'll be amazing...

With Hickson, there's really no need for Terrence Jones. I'd rather take a flier on Perry Jones being able to play the 3, or Jared Sullinger being able to play Center at #11 (assuming Marshall is gone)

PJones wouldn't be able to play the 3 in his whole life.

Sully isn't a C too, Hickson is a FA, so would he stays? really don't now.

TJones ir from Oregon, and him is a really good fit for a small lineup with Aldridge at C, Hickson not really the same.

Anyway you could really go big and draft Leonard/Zeller and not sign Asik, I'd prefer let Hickson go, draft TJones and have a shot at a Asik, better than grab a prospect that can't start like Zeller/Leonard.

If we do sign Hickson, I say we still draft T. Jones cause he would be a perfect backup for Batum. No offense to those Babbit lovers but I think this is the perfect time to trade Babbit during the draft while he's shown he can hit the 3 on a consistent basis.

As far as Perry Jones III, I was high on him during the college season but last few months I'm not sure if he'll reach his potential. Jones can do a little bit of everything while being 6-9 250 ish has the athleticism to play the 3.

Personally if we can get Drummond at 6 and Jones at 11, while getting a Nash or D. Williams for PG... we can be talented and deep next season.

Terrence Jones isn't strong enough to guard NBA PF's and won't be able to stay with NBA SF's. If you're looking for a combo guard to come off the bench in a Odom type role he might be OK. But I wouldn't waste a lottery pick on a player that projects to be an off-the-bench player.

Remember this is all before the actual lottery and from NJ's POV, they will have a
split of the combinations from 5-6 and by losing the flip, they have one less
winning combination

I'm of the opinion we draft the BPA should we end up with the pick. If after the
draft workouts there are six worthy players in this draft, we can't lose unless
we either lose the pick or someone behind us gets lucky enough to finish in the
top 3.

Really there only needs to be 5, Cleveland is drafting ahead of us.

He's 6'9 252 and athletic, he can definitely guard PF's

Didn't say he wasn't big enough. He's not strong enough. Have you seen him play?

He plays a weak, finesse game. A SF in a PF's body. There are 6'7" 230 lb guys who play huge and then there is the opposite, like Jones.

I would be happy with a Beal + Marshall outcome.

We'd still have the money to sign a Center (Asik or Hawes) and then we still have Joel coming back for cheap.

I don't like our chances with Deron. I see Dragic commanding more than we think. Nash will either return to Phoenix or head for a contender. Felton didn't play as bad after Nate so why not bring him back for a year on a smaller contract if all else fails. Then draft some big guys in the second round to fill out the roster a bit.

Felton | Marshall | Smith
Matthews | Beal | Williams
Batum | Babbitt | Williams
Aldridge | Hickson | 2nd Rnder
Asik/Hawes | Przybilla | 2nd Rnder
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

Why waste a dime on Felton if we draft Marshall? If we miss out on Deron, Nash, Dragic or any other FA PG of note, just give him the starting gig. At least with Marshall, you'll expect the rookie mistakes. That much better than expecting rookie mistakes from a 7 year vet like Feltdown. There's absolutely no way I can justify the Blazers bringing back Felton.

Hell, I'd start Nolan 82 games before I'd give Felton a penny to be the Blazers starting PG for another single game.

Felton won't be back. The Blazers don't want to lose ALL of their season ticket holders.

Correct. Felton is not coming back. And he only played better because he was playing to salvage a contract for next year. I honestly wonder where he will end up. Deron, Dragic, Hill, Augustin, Lin are all going to get more money that him.
