He's a gunner and his defense is terrible, but he's got skills.

I think the Beal pick was a really questionable one with Crawford around. WAS should have shopped that pick harder.

It's just one game, anyone can get hot and shoot lights out, I don't regret letting him go, he's a serious chucker who plays no D. I do however regret letting him go for so cheap, Drew never played him and we practically gave him away, another reason I dislike Drew as a coach

Good defense in the OT, lousy FT shooting. It's good to win when your mind is on the next game.

What's wrong with Horford?

Jordan has gotten a lot better. I'm shocked, to be honest, at how much better he is this season.

Tonight: 27 points, 11 assists, 11 rebounds, 1 turnover -- and playing PG. (Career highs in rebounds and assists--yeah, this was his best game ever).

He missed some shots early, got tentative and tried to play PG after that. Guys started playing him for the pass so he started shooting again but kept getting blocked, because he kept getting blocked he started rushing the rest of his shots for fear of getting blocked. Was really an in-game evolution, I wouldn't attribute it to anything bigger.

This game was a worst-case scenario for the Hawks though heading into the matchup against OKC tomorrow. Played tough into OT, Morrow is banged up, Devin got banged up, Ivan got banged up, and Deshawn was forced into action because of injuries and foul trouble/implosion by Teague. Team could be flat and very shorthanded tomorrow with Tolliver *gasp* getting extended minutes.

Despite playing last night, Deshawn will get the start tonight against OKC.

Teague-Deshawn-Korver-Josh-Al is the starting lineup.

Devin is out (surprise!) with a sore foot and Morrow is a game-time decision. Drew claims that he'll use the bench more after last night's OT thriller so expect Tolliver in for about 30 minutes.

The ref's routine bias against us, even on our home floor, is sickening.

Hawks down 21 at the half. We're getting killed on the boards: OKC - 25 rebs ATL - 15 rebs

OKC - 50% FG
ATL - 38% FG

Westbrook has 21 pts, 4 assists at the half.

These refs make it real hard to watch the NBA sometimes. How in the hell was that not a foul on the Horford dunk attempt.

Lou is hurting us in the 4th despite 2 big threes. Bad shots and looking off wide open shooters

Not much we can do about Durant. He can dunk while sitting, make a layup from 3, etc. etc.

Well, I came when we were down 68-51 (I think) and we immediately went on a run. Just about the time I was convinced I was a good-luck piece, Durant unfurled his Superman cape and took flight.

Nothing to do but tip the cap to Mr. Durant.

There is nothing you can do about what Durant did tonight. He hit tough shot after tough shot in the 4th. Literally couldn't have defended him better.

Tonight was a prime example of the Hawks needing a REAL SF!

I don't know. I always think they let the other guys hold and push more than they allow us to, but not tonight. There was a time when Josh tried to get the ref to bail him out under the basket, when Ibaka really didn't foul him. Josh cried to the ref and the ref teed him up. However, after that, I thought the refs called the game for us more so than for the Thunder. Sure, Durant is allowed to foul on defense and is protected on offense but that's just the way things are.

The refs didn't cheat to allow Durant to make a 40 ft 3pter ... or the next time down the court when he hit a fall-away 3. He just hit impossible shots.
