Man... you are digging deep into some dark corners there.

Does the post game media ever ask Hornecek about his strategy, or lack there of???

His strategy seems to be to out score the other team, in hopes that our guys get the calls when they create the contact. It works for many other teams. Oddly our smaller lineups do fairly well, even in crunch time. We made some stupid turnovers, missed a bunch of free throws early, but again, I can't get passed the free throw differential when we lose by one. That last foul by Gasol, was so obvious, one of the three blind mice should be able to catch it.

Or the other game, when Goran is hit on the elbow right in front of the ref. yet Green just reaches at Harden, and whistle. Our guys have to be fouled three times before a call now a days. It's more sad when they show the replays. The other night on a drive our guys was hit pretty hard (all reaches) and it was the third one that was called. Next play on the other end, the whistle was blown before I even saw the foul. It's a joke. It's sad to come to find out that I've been. Rooting for the Washington Generals for thirty plus years. I hate this league now, and it's the only frikin sport I like to watch. Maybe I need to start watching college. But that is becoming just as bad. :(

How much do you guys wanna bet that this team will win pointless games down the stretch giving people hope into thinking "Oh look at least we were close Johnny, a for effort, next year we'll be even better".

The Phoenix Suns motto: "There's always next year".

I still think that Stern is pulling the strings in the background, and there is nothing we can do about it until he dies!

The Suns fell in love with a team that wasn't good enough and gave extensions to four guys who had career years. Now this team is in the same spot as last year except with no cap space. The only hope to significantly improve this team is thru the draft or a trade along with Len/Warren becoming beasts.

You're allowed to blame the coach on this, Bledsoe.

Just in case my point isn't clear enough. Down the stretch 98-93 lead, with 2:33 to go, Grizz shot seven free throws to our.....wait for it.....zero!

Sorry but it should be obvious by now Isaiah Thomas needs to be traded he does nothing defensively offensively he is okay that will get the Suns nowhere . He needs to be packaged with some other players and traded immediately because he is not better than Goran Dragic and its not even close. If this team wants to make the playoffs anytime soon trade Thomas .

We have the worst free throw differential, and Thomas is our best at going to the line. I don't see how losing him helps us, unless we get another player that consistently goes to the line, and can drop twenty plus on any given night. Plus Thomas brought us back into this game. I think he is getting better in his role, we just lack a leader. If Green was a better defender, or if Bullock orGoodwin could be turned into a defensive stopper, I think we could keep IT, and use him as a scorer. Defensively, he hustles and tries, which is better than a lot of our other guys.

I think Tucker's off court bull hurt this team more than anyone thought. He doesn't have the fire this year like last, and is not consistent from three. We lack direction.

You just realize this now?

Suns have players who rely on their isolation and one on one skills for a majority of the game. Rarely any intended plays which frees up shooters and such.

I'm shocked, no tripping call on Gasol? :banghead: :nonono: :x  Who on the Suns is allowed to do a moving screen where they stick out their leg and trip a player?

Suns will not fire Hornacek... the Suns record are above 0.500, thats technically a "pass" especially in the West.
But he is allowing too much "creativity" and "improvisation" from the players on the court.

I really wish they would change the playoff format, and draft format. It's adding insult to injury, when a west team not only misses the playoffs in the west, but could be fifth or higher in the east, and then gets penalized for it in the draft.

We have many lower BBIQs that sometimes can do amazing stuff. I'm starting to wonder if some of our guys can execute plays. Sometimes they impress me.

I'm really shocked that we don't do a ton of back picks like Horny did in Utah. We could easily get ten to fifteen points off back picks and lobs per game. If Tucker isn't hitting his shots, he should be used to do that all night. Not only is he big enough to pick the bigs, he would be in excellent position to rebound any misses. Green's first basket should be a backdoor lob, for an easy dunk. We don't maximize our strengths, and diminish our weaknesses.

Do you watch the games anymore? He was guarding Randolph out on the top of the key for most of the game. Can't expect to rebound much out there.

I fail to see how this one was Hornacek's fault. Turnovers down the stretch, stupid fouls, not boxing out did us in again. The lineup he put in the 4th got us back in the game.
