I kind of saw this before... in another thread someone mentioned they had made a bet that Wiggins would average more turnovers per game than blk+stl+asst per game... and the totals were really close. Then you realize how little Wiggins does other than score. And you might be okay with that if he could defend... but he can't do that, either, even though with his size and athleticism it should be easy for him.

Too big a deal is being made out of this imo, the reason being derozan. Demar was terrible at everything but scoring for years, and even that wasn't very good. It took awhile, but the other stats eventually came, so I have faith that Wiggins, who started out with a lot more talent can bring it all together eventually.

Derozans 3/4th year are very comparable to Wiggins current 3rd year, except demar was 22/23 and Wiggins is only 21

By other stats you mean? He's gotten better at scoring with a higher usage, but sans an increase in assist rate, Derozan is the same no-rebounding, non-defensive playing wing he's always been. So it's probably not the best comparison to use.

I'm a little confused...so would we take Okafor over Wiggins? Noel over Wiggins?

Flawed, yes, but he'd still be an upgrade if you put him between Simmons and Embiid. Can't imagine he's going anywhere soon, but maybe he is the next Rudy Gay??

Even if he is, id still take him over Okafor/Noel.

Also Malcolm Brogdon is hooping against the Cavs. We should have drafted him smh

Man look at what Powell is doing. If Noel for Powell/1st was ever on the table and we didn't take it, were def going to regret it.

If Minnesota were smart, they'd put Wiggins on the block now, while there are still people who think he is a good player. They'd get a boatload back and undoubtedly get more than what he's worth and they could put Shabazz out there at SF and lose at the same rate.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

We should have drafted Zach Lavine.

Perhaps. But we'd all be complaining about the nightly matador show.

The sweet backcourt and league worst defense is getting the Blazers blown out by the Mavericks a night after losing to the Kings.

The Kings are annoying because every time that they seem like they're deflated (getting blown out by 20 to the Mavs), they go on a winning streak and beat some teams that you wouldn't expect them to.

That's what happens when you have a flawed superstar like Cousins.

Dallas might not be as bad as their record suggests.
