Re: Around the league 2017-2018
So tired of seeing LeBron James posting workout videos.
I'm pretty much tired of LeBron in general at this point, can't wait for him to just retire.
Especially now that the Warriors are a superior team and he is old.
Just go away. I hope he does go to the Lakers and teams up with Carmelo, and they play the Sixers in the 2019 Finals.
So we can win in 5 games as they have to take LeBron off in a wheelchair a la Paul Pierce

Eh, I almost just posted some things about racial relations but it's not even worth it
But, to answer your question, No. I don't like LeBron as a person

Re: Around the league 2017-2018
I was looking at the numbers..
IT vs Kyrie.
IT is a better scorer in terms of TS% also has better FTr. IT also has higher OBPM. IT has shown ability to lead his team to a top seed in the east.
That said, say Kyrie played for Celts last season, would he have also had the same impact IT did? Lets remember how Kyrie was playing more like an empty calorie scorer before he played with LBJ.

Yeah, many playees post workout vids. Actually I would love it if BS and Fultz starts posting theirs.
I love working out and hip hop music, I also think LeBron has a case for GOAT, that said I'm entertained with his workout vids and his last remaining seasons in the league. He will leave a pretty big hole once he retires. I do believe we are taking him for granted with the recent emergence of Curry and the Warriors

I agree 76ciology. The greatness of LeBron is that the Warriors had to go out and get a super/super team to beat him. And then have their star player take less money, all in the hopes of keeping the huge basketball behemoth that is LeBron somewhat in check. That is amazing. His impact on the modern day game is/has been amazing. Not just from winning titles, but letting players know that their careers are in their own hands. And when you have the ability to move and better yourself do what is right for you.
He has messed up more than any other player, of his stature in a PR sense, and came back and went from the most hated man in basketball to one of the most beloved. If not in the NBA at least in Cleveland. And if he does leave Cleveland the fans should have nothing but respect for him the same way the Miami fans should have nothing but respect for him because titles are hard to come by.
And for fans of the game that are tired of seeing his workout videos etc. Just stop watching. It's that simple.

that's funny because people said the same thing about LeBron when he went to Miami
"has to team up with Dwade just to win"
"I asked LeBron for change for a dollar and only got 75 cents back. When I asked why he said 'I dont have a 4th quarter'"
remember that joke?
with the exception of KD (and Iggy I guess would be a part of it too), the Warriors drafted their core. People seem to ignore that fact.
and they didnt need a super team to beat him, it just made it much easier. This is obviously true because they beat him before and probably would have won 3 in a row if Draymond isnt suspended

Yeah, GSW MIGHT have beaten the Cavs then and I believe that. But I do think its going to be 50-50 cavs or gsw all the way. While personally, I do believe that winning multiple titles with a PG leading it is IMPOSSIBLE that it has never been done before. Actually winning a championship with the PG as an alpha only happened like 2-3 times only.

Re: Around the league 2017-2018
are you referring to Isiah Thomas and Steph?
Never really thought about it but that is pretty true. Aren't too many PG-led teams to win it all
At least in the modern era (IE: anything from Magic/Bird era and onwards)

That's crazy to me. I don't know how someone can hate LeBron as a person. He's a model citizen off the court. He never gets in trouble. He gives a lot to underprivileged children. He made a school for them. He gives a lot back. Off the court there aren't many better people.

I like Kyrie more than most. I still down think he's a top 20 player but I would love to have him on my team. Before LeBron Kyrie couldn't lead. He was an empty stat player. Even last year the team played worse when he was on the court and LeBron off. With that said I think Kyrie learned and now can lead a team to the playoffs and go deep.

You can't be serious. The Warriors beat LeBron the first time without Love and Kyrie.

I'm not ignoring the fact that the Warriors drafted a good deal of their core. That's why I said they were a super team. But IMHO Cleveland not only beat them physically but they beat them mentally too.
LeBron got to Draymond, mentally, and then the Cavs came back from being down 3-1 to beat the Warriors on their home court. Draymond only missed one game. Cleveland had them forged out.
I'll give the warriors front office all the credit in the world. Because in the off season they went out and got the guy that they had beaten mentally and physically to join their team. That is some Jedi level mind chit right there!
We can go back and forth on this all day long. But without KD the Warriors are not beating a healthy Cavs team for the title.

I guess it's kind of hypocritical to have a username based on Shawn Kemp while simultaneously saying that I don't like LeBron.
I mean, LeBron has been a model citizen, I'll give him that. I just don't necessarily agree with some of his opinions on things.

Celts..
Why do the deal when it doesn't get you two of your main goals..
1.) beat Cavs
2.) get a superstar
Cavs has more assets than ever to convince LBJ that their team is not topped off unlike last June.
Kyrie and Hayward are nowhere near superstar.
Cavs is looking good, specially if Wade plays inspired with a minute restriction. Maybe as back-up 2 guard?
IT/Rose
JR/Wade/Korver
LeBron/Crowder
Love/RJ
TT/Frye

I still can't find any date for the start of camp. I figure that it must be a week before the first preseason game, which would put it at about the 27th of September.
At that point we will start getting a lot more information back about the team, so that is what I am really counting down the days for.
