As the clear cut #1 guy. Both hampton and lewis are more raw and less athletic than edwards.

nah, I don't have a clear cut #1 guy right now, and if I had to pick right now, it'd be between Lewis and Hampton.

i think Edwards has probably more potential than anyone else I'll give you that, but I'm not quite sold yet on the mental side tbh, we'll see.

Just a limited take because all I've seen are highlights, but Edward's ability to focus on seeing the whole floor makes me think he's likely (but not definitely) a high IQ player. He's definitely the player I'm most interested in watching at the beginning of the season.

Wiseman doing big man things isn't my concern with him. Its when he's trying to do wing/guard things that I get leery. When Wiseman plays like a big, grabs boards, rim runs, post up, block shots, he's the kid we expect him to be and a damn good C in the league with just those things in place. When he's using hesitation dribbles, trying to cross up players and shooting step back jumpers from 18 feet out is when he falls on the board in my eyes. As long as he doesn't spend the whole season trying to prove what else he can do and just stick to the meat and potatoes we came for he's gonna be a stud.

These kids need to be better about doing their job on the team their on and letting the rest come to light when the circumstances change. doing that exact thing is what shot KAT to the top. Anyone following him knew guard skills and the jumper were there but at UK he did big man things. The rest is advantageous once you hit the NBA. You won't be allowed the same freedoms you had in college or high school unless the situation is right so these kids need to spend their time prior to that showing scouts that they can do their jobs on whatever team they're on.

Not sure if this has been discussed yet in this thread but what are some good NBA comparisons for Wiseman?

Maybe a Drummond/Bagley hybrid?

Myles Turnerish? maybe with a bit stronger lower body but both have core strength issues

Should hopefully be a better rebounder than Myles and i wouldn't trust his jumper as much.

Wiseman's offense looks like flu-Marvin Bagley. Jeez. Same style and moves but no...Bagley-isms

I would hope and pray that Wiseman would never try and emulate Bags in any form outside of hair and strong hand shooting. James doesn't need to be that kind of big. If dude stuck to the basics he would be just fine.

Yeah, that's what I meant with flu Bagley. He looks way slower, stone feet, robotic, but tries to do many of the things Bagley actually can do.

On defense, however...jeez, I love this guy. Great timing for blocks

I think Killian will definitely rise above being the 21st pick (if not id love him on the Raptors lol)

Although maybe the excess of ball handling guards in this draft (for now at least) will lead to players falling below their talent level

Wiseman still needs to define his play style. He is a mishmash right now.

It's too early to say Melo would go #1 but I would strongly consider it. He could go to Charlotte right now and magically improve at least 4 players on that rosters ceiling and floor instantly. Floor raisers like him are rare and generational

I'd lock him in a room right now with nothing but David Robinson film and say "do that"

If he uses any of that IQ on defense and isn't a turn-style on that end we have something. Shot selection will need to be cleaner but i think that also comes in time. I think he'd definitely be a Trae Young kind of situation though where you'd have to cater to his style a bit to get the most out of him.

no offense ken but i seen you call at least one prospect generational every year bit too liberal with the word

. Trae (this could be true) & Reddish (this is doubt highly)
