Trading Bojan and giving Bey his role to prove his spot as a cornerstone has to happen

We don't have to give Bey anything. Bojan is not preventing him from proving anything.

I think Bey has a long-term future as a solid sixth man for us unless he suddenly gets reliable on defense. Agreed that Bojan doesn't affect that one way or the other.

I’ve got no problem with the idea that this team is far enough from competing that vets with value (Bojan, Burks) should be traded for draft picks/younger, developing players, and continuing to build on the young core the team already has, which by the way has an average age of just under 22. That’s YOUNG. And given that the average age of an NBA player’s peak is 27 and the average age of an NBA champion team is 28, understand that moving vets for younger, developing players means this team might still be 5 years from contending.

I think this helps us in the trade market. Nets will be looking hard for some help and the Lakers didn't get any help. Another good thing, we don't have to read more Kyrie trade crap for the next week.

Nets got Philly's 2023 FRP, 2029 Dallas FRP, and need more help. Hope they come knocking...

I actually thought that Dallas was going to be the most desperate team to land a good player like Bojan.

Dallas needs defense now.

I don't see Nets trading away Irving for Dinwiddie and then ready to make a win-now trade like some firsts for Bojan.

I don't think KD wants to be part of a rebuilding team. He wants to win now. Crazy to think they had KD, Hardin and Kyrie, and that trio only played like 18 games together. S--- happens. Going to be interesting to see their next move.

They're still desperate. That move nets them very little improvement.

Harden, KD, Kyrie, and Ben Simmons have all had at least one trade demand..

This is Cuban's way to buy time. But it doesn't make much sense. Two ball dominant point guards, but it will still be fun to see on ESPN Wednesday at 10pm ET.

Yeah, in terms of fit, it's actually not great at all. You want Luka to have the ball at all times basically since he can do his thing with it

And netting Kyrie doesn't solve their 0 defense and lack of frontcourt presence. Kyrie isn't and never has played great defense in his career. Cuban is so lucky that he drafted someone like Dirk go all time supernova in the 2010 playoffs to win the chip and also lucking his way into getting Luka when the Hawks had a brain aneurysm and traded him away for no reason. Otherwise, he'd be relegated into the bins of nosy and dumb owners overall

Warriors, with Curry going out for extended time, could make a move....

Don't see us making any moves unless it's just trimming some fat.

Noel to Denver for Monte Morris TPE + heavily protected 2nd. He's probably bought out if not traded.

Possibly the same fate for Joseph.

Nuggets have like a 9.7 million TPE from the trade to absorb Noel's 9.2.
