Honestly, move Thanny to the pressbox. Teach him how to be color guy to replace Marques. He can bring great insights, stay around the team, and he'd instantly be better than Novak.

Just hire his as an assistant so he can be on the bench during games to talk to Giannis. Pay him whatever Giannis wants them to pay his bro.

Also beneficial for TA because he might be able to go be an assistant in Greece when Giannis’ career is over with over a decade of NBA assistant coaching experience on his resume.

100%.

Anyone thinking defense has been our problem in the playoffs is crazy. It’s the play random, let it fly, nonsense offense we ran

These numbers are skewed because they don't go by series. The defense was great destroying Detroit, but wasn't good in the series we lost.

The defense was awesome vs. Toronto in '19 and Boston in '22.

Bucks website still has Crowder in a Suns jersey

Yep. They lost in 19 because the Raptors D was also terrific and Bledsoe was basically playing for the Raptors. Lost in 22 because they couldn’t score without Midds.

Only two series their D has seemed compromised to me was the two Heat series loses. Not a coincidence that Giannis was hurt in both of those and also not deployed to guard Butler.

Assuming Crowder is on a minimum, Bucks are 1,043 mil under the 2nd tax apron with 14 contracts. That said there is no room to sign even a rookie at this point or giving Jae something more than the min.

Assuming there is an Allen + Pat for Sexton trade in line Bucks will be at 2,066 mil under the 2nd tax apron with 13 contracts. Which means they will be able to add a 14th contract and again keep the last spot open.

If Livingston has the work ethic he can become Jae eventually is probably the thought process. MarJon/AJJ and him at the 2/3/4 looked like a glimpse into the future when Giannis is a full time 5.

How likely is it Crowder actually took the minimum?

It is strange that every offseason move we've made has been officially announced by the team except for Crowder's resigning. Not sure what to make of that.

What team would give Crowder more than the minimum? And why? He wasn't good last season.

I'd love that to happen but I think it's wishful thinking we've picked up three starters from our last 2 drafts.

Miami would give him the minimum and he’d take that over the Bucks at the minimum.

So do we have Gortman signed on a two-way?

What on earth?

Bucks either LOVED what they saw in Livingston in that workout or are doing a big favor to his agency, Klutch.

Probably unrelated but Klutch signed Sexton season before last.

It’s just a money saving move. That contract is less than league minimum down the road. Another team did it with their second rounder as well this year. He gets some guaranteed money now, but if he’s even worth a roster spot it’s a bad deal for him down the road.

The pick itself was questionable enough. This contract has to be some kind of favor to Klutch for future gain.

I always wonder who runs the NBA website and sub-sites because they are the worst at updating team/roster pages.

Keyonte looks great in summer league. Sexton clearance sale coming soon. Bet we were bidding against ourselves on him too.

Just get Garuba - the dude’s just being passed around the league at this point.

Young bigs who profile as defenders and passers will always have considerable potential.
