The Timberwolves were #27 in attendance last year, and are now up to #18. Every game has been a sell out so far, but we are behind some teams that are under 100% attendance simply because our stadium has fewer seats than teams like CHI and DET.

They need to take down the tarps. They aren't making every seat in the arena available yet...wonder when that happens.

Thanks! I didn’t know that!

So the current "100% capacity" is 18,024.

Last year's play-in and playoffs attendance numbers were
19,304 (play-in)
19,536 (Game 3)
18,978 (Game 4)

Getting over 19,000 would move us into the Top 10.

I am always surprised by how few people go to the NBA stadiums.

Beverley is just flat out lying

”KAT bogus as hell,” Beverley said on The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone on Wednesday morning. “KAT bogus man, straight up. And [Anthony Edwards] was back there too. … I see KAT doing a mean mug face, but then you ain’t doing s—! Choke Draymond back! So now if I’m Draymond, I’m like, ‘Yeah I choke they center and they homies didn’t do nothing. If we play in the playoffs, KAT I ain’t worried about you, you didn’t even help your homie.’ KAT, nah f— that. I taught you better than that.”

I have been getting this idea lately that NBA players with podcasts are trying to brand themselves for life after the NBA. I listen to stuff like this, or even Draymond’s behavior, and I wonder if they want to be the next Charles Barkley - opinionated tough guy who is rich and famous twenty years after he can’t play the game any more. But maybe I’m giving them too much credit.

Have you watched a game from those seats?
It's like watching the game through your front window sitting on a lawn chair in your yard, while your cat walks across the top of the couch.

Wolves are currently 1 of 3 teams 100 percent projected to make the playoffs. It's crazy to see that this early after years of missing and then the last few seasons of constantly worrying if we could squeeze in.

Toumani Camara looks good for 52nd pick. IMO he would fit here as defensive minded versatile PF from bench.

:nonono: I wish we were in these games. This Pacers/Celtics game is so awesome. The atmosphere is unreal. The players want this, this is fun basketball. That's what sports are supposed to be about, fun. That's ultimately why we play and watch. I know the real goal is money for a business but the human goal is ultimately fun. Mission accomplished. Fantastic stuff tonight!

Flip side, we get the spurs at home and Griz on the road. Two likely wins instead of tough games which lead to a bonus game (chance to get someone hurt,) for nothing more than pocket change and a trophy.

Who cares this tournament is meaningless. All games are fun but the real fun that matters is in late April and May.

Either you add playoff implications, cap space, or draft pick bonus to this tournament, or it will never reach its potential.

I get where Calinks is coming from. I get where Winforlose is coming from and I get where you're coming from Neeva. It would be fun if we were in it. However as Winforlose said that extra game could end up getting someone injured. Odds are we win both of the games we were assigned. Good chance we would have lost in the tourney. Perhaps the team that wins the tourney, I'm expecting it to be the Kings uses it as a springboard to winning a lot of games. I'm content with our existing situation.

It has to be for more than extra money for the players. Has to be.

With their loss/elimination, the Boston Celtics now have 5 losses on the season. Wolves now own the best record in the entire NBA, not just the west.

Imagine switching those for Pelicans and Suns in a neutral arena.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
