Re: Cooper Flagg
I think he’s AK47 defensively while being Ingram on the offensive end.
Offensively I think if given the chance he can be a legit point forward. I think his bread and butter offensively will be his versatility and his pull up mid range shot. Not sure his jumper will translate to a super consistent 3pt shooter.
But I do think he plays with a completely different level of aggression compared to BI.
Defensively he is long and athletic. But on top of all of that, his defensive IQ/awareness or whatever you want to call it is off the charts. Dude just knows where to be all the time and knows how to use his length to disrupt the offense.

That might be the worst player comparison ever made. They are polar opposite players. You clearly don't know a damn thing about Flagg's game.
How are they opposite. Both are the same height, both have an all around offensive game.

Parson's shorter, had a crap wingspan, almost no usage of the mid-range and had an ass short game.

Oh no, you were serious. That's pretty disappointing, thought you were making a - rather obvious - joke.

after (in order) Wembanyama, Lebron, AD, and KD, he's the best NBA prospect in the last 25 years. Next year Dybantsa might be even better, or at least on his level. There have obviously been great players drafted during that time. But strictly as a prospect, he's better than all of the rest because he has no holes in his game. He's got great size and athleticism for a point forward. He has elite BBIQ on both ends. He can pass, shoot and what separates him from everyone else is he can defend at an elite level. This won't be considered silly by the time the draft rolls around.

I know the best prospect since Lebron would never go to a minor market like San Antonio....oh wait....
Zion a hype machine would never go to New Orleans.
Frozen envelopes forever baby
Playing for pop is a great achievement. Imagine if Lebron had pop as a coach for atleast 4 years.
Zion hype is nothing like this(same as KYRIE) and New Orleans just lost AD.
The frozen envelopes are here to stay. But thinking COOPER Flagg will go to Washington or charlotte is hilarious and not a good business decision for the NBA.

Paul George with more defense, intangibles, less scoring. Great but not generational.
I like Edgecombe, his nba draft.net comparison is Westbrook. I see a lot of D-Wade/Ant/ young MJ in his movements personally.
Folks are most enamored by the two taller prospects but that 3rd pick won't be too shabby I bet.

When he was practicing with the NBA Olympic squad players were very complimentary of his game. He needs to clean up his handle a bit but I think he's gonna be like a defensive and slightly more athletic Turkoglu, with a bit higher efficiency.

He also has a non-stop motor. I’m not sure if there have been any long-term players in the NBA who’ve had a non-stop motor and were not plus players; many of these players who have a non-stop motor don’t have expansive skill sets as the motor IS the skillset, but Flagg has the motor and the skills and the bballIQ. You don’t see that very often.

Paul George with MORE defense? That's basically a multiple time DPOY. PG is already 4X All-Defense.
Let's keep it at Paul George.... that's a reasonably good comp.

Kevin Love comes to mind.
Was Love elite prospect? I know he was a high draft pick, but was he that elite? I am pulling this right of my ass, could be way wrong, but this might be first time in like 50 years where first American taken in a draft, will be white boy, in back to back drafts (Sheppard this year second overall, first American taken).
Jimmer, Morrison and Redick were pretty huge, but only Redick kind off panned out.
He wasn't. He was a good prospect, but nowhere near this level. He was a top 5-8 pick in an okay, but not great draft. Flagg will/could be a consensus Nr. 1 in what is expected to be a much stronger class.
Coming out of HS Love was also a big giant fatty.

Let me know when COOPER Flagg goes to a NBA abyss.
You think he’s going to Utah or charlotte?

Yea I remember that class very well.
Kevin Love wasn’t the best or near the best prospect at all

Doesn't the fact that Team USA players were giving him props carry any weight?
