Cory should get some more minutes, he had 2 assist and 3 pt in 4 minutes that's better than Gary and Cole.

Height is fine for PF. He needs to add lower body strength.

he's still not a PF....it's like saying JI is a center

Adding another guard who wants to dribble and initiate offense just takes the ball out of Black’s hands. Is that what y'all really want?

we need offense off the bench. He's not ideal but he should be available. Scoring wings typically aren't available.

He’s played in 3 games, we have to give him time. Although, I think he is a SF. I think he is Franz’s backup.

That doesn’t really answer my question though.

Black is pretty clearly being used as one of the team’s primary ball handlers.

Adding a guard who wants to dribble will only limit that.

Are people ready to yank the ball out of Black’s hands already?

Black has to prove he can do specifically that.

the way things are going with KCP, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that AB is the starter next to Suggs sooner rather than later, then a guy like Sexton can dribble the air out of the ball (like Cole did) with the 2nd unit.

He is a tweener. He isn’t quick enough to guard SF.

Maybe I'll end up eating these words, but I don't really see a scenario where KCP gets benched anytime soon. Not after the contract they paid him and the defense he's generally played so far.

Black's TS% is only 52.3% after tonight, so it's not like he's just killing it offensively to the point where he has to be out there no matter what anyway.

If it were me, because Cole's been so awful, I would put Black back on the bench - he'd still play 25+ MPG - so one of he or Suggs will always been on the floor.

But I suspect tonight's lineup will be the lineup and they'll just be more obvious about staggering Black and Suggs.

no disagreement on the likelihood of KCP going to the bench, especially this season. I'm just throwing out ideas that could potentially work without giving up a ton.

Here's another name that would be available for a somewhat cheap price: Brandon Ingram. There is talk that he wants a max deal though. I don't think he'll get it on the open market though.
