The Bulls got the protections removed from their pick. They get their 2025 pick no matter what now. They literally got a first

Man, with Wemby, Fox, and Castle I sure hope so. Season is barely half over.
Go Spurs!

This season has been wild!

I agree. They know their core wasn't going to win and got a haul in picks.

they got a 27 very late first and a pick six years from now. not sure that is a haul.
I guess I misread the tweet. Three first rounders, three second rounders is what I read.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of Fox.

Is the league encouraging extra trade activity this deadline to help with fan interest/viewership issues?

no offense but I also found the X firsts talk kind of dumb. it's like comparing Robert horrys rings to Jordans. the SAS pick will probably suck, the CHA pick is protected (no idea what it turns into), and 75% of the league will turn over by the time the Minny pick conveys. give me ad over that

Ahh. I didn't see the tweet on the actual picks. Just the haul.

AD is only 600ish days older than Giannis. Hard to believe. Davis feels so much older.

One thing that I am enjoying about the Luka trade are schills and talking heads trying to convince everyone that this was a good trade for the Mavs.

My favorite so far is Greg Anthony saying this was a win now move for the Mavs.

I know if I had 25 year old MVP level talent that just lead my team to the NBA Finals 8 months ago, the first thing I would do if I wanted to win now is trade him for a guy in his 30's who can't stay healthy.

The people trying hard to make it seem like this was some sort of a good trade for the Mavs are just making this whole thing look even more shady.

Why do the Kings want to be a mediocre Bulls team? They were already the Bulls West, but that wasn't enough?

I dunno, I’ll put it out there: Fox is good but kinda overrated too. The Kings won’t be world beaters but they won’t be much worse either.

The real kicker in all of this is they chose the wrong PG. should’ve kept Hali.

I've never really been a fan, would have gone for a lob expert PG but I guess the price was pretty good so I can't really fault it. Haliburton would be an amazing pairing with Wemby! (I do understand that this is not the point you were making)

In a two year stretch the Spurs have added Wemby, Fox and Castle. And they still have a ton of draft picks.

All we really needed out of Horst was to find one top 75 athletic starter at some point in the past five years.

The report came out that Luka’s super max extension would’ve been worth 345m and now the Lakers can only extend him for 5yrs at 229m.

It's 4/229 not 5.

Therefore he'll make around 300 the next 5 seasons instead of 345.
