Let it be known that I like Noel, Len, Shabaaz, Zeller (I know I was harsh on him before), Adams, and Mccollum in this draft.

I would trade down for Olynyk or McCollum. I think Karasev will be a better SF, but Porter will be a very solid pick. I think Zeller and Oladipo will be better players than Otto.

This draft my only very strong feeling is don't draft Bennett.

I will even be pleased if by some way the Wizards end up with Alex Len.

Trading down and coming away with a C and a backup PG/SG, like Nate Wolters, would make my day. I'm not looking for it.

Forgot that I also obviously like Oladipo. I also like Olynyk.

Oladipo is probably the best player not named Noel. He's not a bad pick but there will be a trade if he's picked. Noel's knees scare me. If he's on board at three I really dunno ...

I don't think I've seen a better small forward in this league. He's just a complete player. If we were still in this league, I'd be saying that to get him out.

I'm trying to get myself excited about picking Porter- cause I'm having trouble with his lack of elite ... anything. Did Jim Boeheim really think that Otto is the best all around player in the history of the Big East? Better than Carmelo?

I guess I'll take that. :-?

Better than Ewing??

Ewing, Mullin, Walter Berry, Derrick Coleman, Pearl, Alonzo Mourning, Melo. Of course he's not. Just Jimmy B. exaggerating off one great performance.

Anyone just hear that report on ESPN:

Jeanine Edwards says that EG said "There's no impact players in this draft" but they need someone to make an "immediate impact"

I don't think Porter makes ANY impact this year if Webster resigns. There simply will not be any PT for him.

If Bennett is going to plummet, wonder if there is any way we could get back into the draft and take him?

^ yeah, I saw that.

I also saw that Ted scheduled an unrelated(?) business meeting the night of the draft, so he won't be there with the Wizards "brain trust".

Sac wants to trade UP for Oladipo/Mclemore.

Do a pick swap AND right to switch picks in 2014 (top 5 protected).

Honestly, I'd trade the 3rd pick+Vesely for Patterson+2014 1st (top 1 protected).

BS. Webster and Ariza will play some 2 if they re-sign Martell, which I don't think will happen. No way are you going to sit a third pick unless he's Hasheem Thabeet.

John Wall is getting him placed in a lot of random bits these days. First the Kimmel Teen Wolf video; now the BPRD/Bridges spot.

Good for his profile, I suppose.

Anyone just see John Wall on that commercial with Jeff Bridges for that movie R.I.P.D.?

I would not. No need to force a Vesely deal, especially not giving the #3.

I would rather trade down with Minnesota, and get back Derrick Williams and a pick for Olynyk and possibly a second pick, Wolters or Canaan.

Send Vesely to a team like Minnesota, because Flip Saunders liked him in the first place.
