We'll play the best team we have (so no Barnes, Maddison, Under or Justin). The question is what who will you play?

Surely your big match is the EL on Thursday but then you have the international break to rest up, Having said that I hope you play most of your first team especially the defenders and Fred. Hopefully Cavani doesn't play any part.

As for the result. I have no idea :D If we play to our best we'll beat you but you do seem to be getting results all season without really looking good, which probably means you're the better team. :o

Manchester 2 Leicester 4

FA Cup QF

Leicester 3 Man U 1

Domination! I was worried at half time when it was 1-1 and we had played so well but I needn't have worried. we played even better in the second half and if Vards had had his shooting boots on 6-1 would have been a reasonable result.

Great play all over the pitch.

Kasper 7.5
Castagne 7
Soyuncu 8.5
Evans 7.5
Fofana 8.5
Albrighton 7
N'didi 9
Tielemans9
Perez 7
Iheanacho 9
Vardy 6

Southampton stand between us and the final.

Leicester 0 Man City 2

So we lost. they were by far better in the first half and weren't the better team in the second half but they scored twice. We need to go at these teams and not sit and wait till we go behind.

Kasper 6
Amartey 5
Evans 6
Fofana 8
Albrighton 5
Castagne 6.5
N'Didi 6.5
Tielemans 5.5
Perez 6
Iheanacho 6
Vardy 5.5

Now onto West Ham.

Castagne can play both sides. You're underestimating an excellent player. Though next season when Justin has recovered from injury I think he'll move castagne over and play Ricardo ahead of him.

West Ham 3 Leicester 2

Poor poor performance. 70 minutes we were running in treacle. didn't merit a point although we very nearly got it. Top 4 is that much harder now with Manu, Chelsea and Spurs to play.

Kasper 4
Amartey 2 Thomas 5
Fofana 5
Evans 5
Castagne 4
Ricardo 4
N'didi 4
Tielemans 4
Praet 4 Albrighton 8
Iheanacho 6
Vardy 4

Next week FA Cup Semi.

Maddison, Choudhury and Perez (and whoever the others were) 0 for partying and affecting the team before a big game

Massive day for LCFC fans tomorrow. An FA Cup final appearance would make this the second (or third) best season in our history.

FA Cup Semi Final
Southampton 0 Leicester 1

I saw us fail at Villa Park as a second division team in the Semi final against Spurs in 82 and I'm so happy to have seen us win, even if it was on a screen in 2021. Now we've got to break the 137 year hoodoo and win the final for the first time.

Game wasn't a classic but we kept them very quiet and put the ball in the net.

Kasper 6

Castagne 7
Soyuncu 7
Evans 7.5
Fofana 8.5
Ricardo 6.5 Albrighton 6.5

N'Didi 8
Tielemans 7.5
Perez 5.5 Maddison 7

Vardy 7
Iheanacho 8.5

91 years ago today Leicester Drew 6-6 with Arsenal at Filbert street. it's still the highest scoring draw in the history of top division English football.

History and Culture.

Fofana 8 albrighton 6
Evans 8
Soyuncu 8
Thomas 8
NDidi 8
Tielemans 8
Maddison 6.5 Perez 6

4 wins from final 6 league games will guarantee CL. Still a long way to go but it's possible.

Leicester 2 Palace 1

Our 3rd game in 9 days their 1st in 2 weeks. Palace were looking poor before their break and everyone wondered whether they were already on the beach. Would they return rusty or ready? Clearly they returned ready and made an effort to beat us. Zaha seems to score against us in every match he plays and he continued it here with a goal in the first 6th of the match. After that Palace tried to defend as a team and hit on the break something Hodgson has been good at for many decades. Leicester played well in the first half but their passing was a little slow and their final shot was lacking. I felt at half time that we'd score in the second half but I wasn't sure we'd get more than a point. which wouldn't be enough in our CL bid. However we came out cool and calm in the second half and pressed better and played quicker. Castagne banged in the early equaliser and then we pushed hard for a winner. Palace played their part with stout defence and great breaks one which Jonny Evans crushed in typical Jonny fashion before he later launced a perfect long pass to Kels who controlled it and then turned and fired a belter into the top of the net. We could have had a few more after that but 2-1 was enough and we now go into Friday's match against Southampton knowing 9 pts from the last 5 will be enough for CL football next season.

Kasper 6
Castagne 8
Fofana 7.5
Evans 9
Cags 7.5
Thomas 7
N'Didi 8
Tielemans 7.5
Maddison 4
Iheanacho 9
Vardy 7.5

Come on Leicester CL football is almost within reach. Show the super leaguer's what real football is about.

I think it is worth mentioning that with 5 games to play Arsenal cannot catch us in the league now. :-)

Southampton 1 Leicester 1

Played against 10 men, gave away a penalty and ended with a draw. Not good enough but the SKY commentator is a real prick.

Kasper 6
Castagne 6.5
Fofana 7.5
Evans 7.5
Soyuncu 5.5
Thomas 6
N'Didi 6.5

The highs and lows of a football fan. Although I'm still dispirited this morning I feel the need to state how fantastic my team have been this season and even if they lose every game between now and the end of the season - which would probably mean missing out on europe altogether - it has still been a great season to be a Leicester supporter. I've been down to the third tier of football and I've been relegated several times. Even finishing 7th and losing an FA Cup final is something I couldn't have dreamt of throughout my youth and a very good season for Leicester. will that happen? I don't think so. I think we're justifiably the 3rd or 4th best team in the league this season and that should translate into 4 or 5 points over the last 4 games (2 of them against the 2nd and 3rd best teams of the season being as they are likely European finalists too).4 points would mean that West Ham need at least 12 from 15, Pool 13 from 15, Spurs 14 from 15 and Everton 15 from 18. All difficult asks but I suppose one of them could do that. Honestly I think we'll do well against the 3 super 6 teams and pick up 4 or 5 points from those 3 games whilst Newcastle could be anything but I should hope it's a win for us. If we manage 7 or 8 points then I think top 4 is safe. A double over Chelsea in the next three weeks would be our aim :-)

That's football!

Big 2 weeks ahead.
Fri Newcastle
Tues Manu
Sat Chelsea
Tues Chelsea
Sun Spurs

2 games against CL finalists, 1 against EL finalists and finish with spurs. But the most important at the moment is Newcastle.

Let's go Leicester.
