Dinwiddie made huge plays last season, he wasn't voted 2nd in MIP for no reason at all. He's going to get paid, I just doubt we'll be the ones to do it.

He has a tiny cap hold, so we can pull a Harris and sign him last. I think he's our best PG personally.

I have zero issue with waiting until the smoke clears to sign him over the cap. Spencer is a steady hand. I would like him to be more efficient however.

He will be. It was his first year playing major minutes and I think fatigue set in as did opposing scouting. He also was forced to be a closer/go to guy when he's not.

Everyone's numbers should be up from last year since the team got better with the additions of Napier, Ed Davis and Faried. Now they have another good point guard to break down the defense, a good defender in Ed Davis and Faried is a tough athlete as well. They also have something to prove in contract years as incentive.

I personally love it. Of course I want the Nets to show it on the court, but I like that our players have the confidence in them and there's no reason for us to not be better than the Knicks this year.

LOL Where?

Frank/Burke/Mudiay
Lee / Hezjona
THJ / Thomas
Kornet / KP * (ACL)
Kanter / Robinson

Ntilikina, Knox and an injured Porzingis? Frank was not better than Jarrett Allen nor SD, Knox looks good but hasn’t accomplished anything, Dolan wants KP out for a full season, Knicks need to shed THJ, Noah, etc.

We went through an ugly season to just gain a fraction of respect for the Kenny Atkinson culture. Why are we gift wrapping random compliments that hasn’t been earned yet? The 2018-19 Knicks roster projected to finish with 25 wins by FiveThirtyEight. Vegas also had us at a 10th place finish which would require at least 7-8 game win improvement.

How are the Knicks without KP, new coaching staff, bad and overpaid backcourt, weak defensive frontcourt will somehow improve by 7-8 wins? Besides that, how do they have more talent with those factors in play?

I think Porzingas is where the conversation ends and begins as far as talent goes. He's the best player in NYC.

But looking at both rosters, neither of them are anything to sneeze at. I think Knox is going to be pretty good, the french kid has some ways to go but he could develop into a decent PG. We've got some decent young pieces and I think we should have a better season than them barring health. But they whipped our asses last year. Period. That doesn't sit well with me. Spare me the bravado and let me see us run them off the floor in our gym and shut the Knicks fans who take over our building every game up. I want them to be silenced in our first home game. I want to beat them so bad they are gone by the middle of the 4th qtr. The Nets should be out for blood when we see the Knicks.

Spare us this. You talk **** about D'Angelo Russell every other day on here. Once you give all Nets players that same energy I'll take your words into consideration.

And saying that Spence needs to save it for the court doesn't mean i don't back him. I just want him to shut up and bring his A game in October. Talking **** in August about a team that manhandled us multiple times last season is amateur hour.

NYK minus Zingod is one of maybe 4 or 5 teams who should be a lock to finish below us barring massive injuries.

Letting everyone talk crap about your franchise is any better? Spare the “homer” mindset here. These guys bust their ass for this organization and they have every right to joke or take shots at any trolling fan base or player.

Not a single franchise in this league thinks like that except for Nets fans and the Hornets, Grizzlies, Clippers, Raptors have accomplished much less than us as a franchise and their fan base shows more support, faith and pride when backing their own players regardless of team record. Nobody gives a damn. It’s August and we have a new roster and the Knicks know they are tanking. Kanter reps NYK hard. He sticks up for his guys. Talking trash to a team with one more win than you is amateur hour responding is simply defending your self and spending up for yourself

Net fans act like chicken little too much on here already bowing to other fans and rosters who don’t respect you for not respecting your own team. People complain about how small our following is and barely put in 100% right now.

If Irving and Butler trash talk the Knicks as a member of the Nets will it still be amateur? Having a 50 win season doesn’t mean we should let our nuts hang either. How did that work in 2012? We won 49 games and that was it. Had a roster of no pride or likability. Let’s not complain through a likable team.

I don't mind **** talking but come on. Knicks owned us last year. I don't want to hear it, i want to see it. They beat the brakes off of us and bullied us. Go out there in the home opener and prove your the best team in NYC by winning the game. That tweet is going to look crazy if the Nets lose that game Paradise.

And I dunno who bows to other fans...how many times have I gotten into trouble on here for cussing out Celtics, Knicks and Raptors fans over the years? Literally called Boston fans a bunch of racist drunks and addicts.

Who was talking **** from the Knicks though?

Regular season head to head games don't mean much to me, they were 1 game better than us last season iirc and that was only because they got off to a good start with Porzingis leading them. We had our own injury issues to worry about as well. If Levert gets massively overrated here, then Ntilikina has shown far less in the league, what does that make him?

How can you not love this guy? He’s so much fun on Twitter.

S/o to Spencer for becoming a father. I hope his future son plays defense like his uncle, Andre Roberson.
