Round six in the books. Most of the picks felt like bench fodder. I thought LA Bird with McHale and Dame with Gasol helped themselves the most. I'd still go with Quo/Pel, CD, Dame, Goober, Fadeaway, LA Bird, and janmagn as my favorites.

I fully expect everyone to go through and look at the years and cross reference with Basketball reference on every player in this format. There is no excuse not to. It's really critical in this format.

Yeah, I doubt there's a single drafter in this game that isn't using off prime years for at least some of their players, so its really important to know what other teams are actually putting out on the floor.

Yeah, there's no way around it. It might be worth adding Basketball reference hyperlinks to the roster thread to make navigating easier.

I'm planning to do so with my roster page.

Sarcasm I assume? I doubt most people this. I will for some but not every person on every roster. Some people I don't feel a need as know their game fine.

There's an awful lot of off-prime years in this game though, both due to age and due to FGA restraints, and those need to be paid attention to.

I agree. I don't think everyone will look at every player/season combo. It would be great if everyone did but I doubt it will happen.

I think we all know these players fairly well- it's a matter of differentiating specified non-peak seasons. Not sarcasm, I'm afraid...

I always flood my roster pages with player stats anyway.

Your format with spoilers for player stats and accolades might be really helpful in this format for rankings.

Not Sarcasm. Detlef and Mason for example are still decent bench players in the season available but very very far from the allstar level players they blossomed in to.

To be honest I'd rather not have the spoiler. I'd rather scroll a bit to get to each roster page as opposed to clicking each button.

Deron Williams an impactful player for round 7. Nice. I'd kind of forgotten roddy and his Russ/Kobe/Pip connection.

Seems like some of us, including me, took too many FGA early on and because of that guys like DWill slip this far.

Since I'm taking over for Quo I might as well plug my picks.
Maxwell was a great playoff performer, finals MVP, sported a ridiculous TS% and proved that he could score before he had Larry Bird playmaking for him. Most of his offense comes around the basket but he's an 80% Free Throw Shooter so has a capable midrange jumper. Playing mainly at the 4 and off the bench as a super 6thman I don't think spacing will be an issue. But with Lebron and Price primarily playmaking for him in the P&R and especially in transition my team becomes even more dangerous. And now between Malone and Maxwell I have two monster offensive rebounders.
Plus his nickname is cornbread, that has to count for something.

There will no doubt be valuable guys who won't be drafted at all. There's only so much FGA to use, early or late.

There is a certain player (snakes knows who I'm taking about) that STILL hasn't been taken, I'll be completely shocked if he goes un-drafted somehow.

There's another pg I assumed lilly was going to spring for that I think would have made a bigger impact.
