well this ends the "I'd rather have paid this [wing] over Snell" takes

Also the annual "we always bid against ourselves" "we should've waited to match" hot takes. I'd personally prefer TSnell's 44 mil on another team's payroll but considering the $$$ being handed out today it looks like The Bucks played this one right.

Maybe when the dust settles we can ship off Henson for a 2nd. That would be a dream come true although Brooklyn, like everyone else, knows Henson is worth a bologna sandwich and a half eaten bag of cheese puffs.

Been beating the Henson to Brooklyn via cap space drum for awhile.

Forgot he was a Hawk. I lose track of THJ's travels.

Absurd money though.

How insane is it that Hardaway Jr. made more in this one contract alone than his father did in his entire NBA career?

We gave ourselves paper cuts in the webbing of our toes but it's okay because at least we didn't do it to our dicks like that other team did.

Exactly! A bad contract is a bad contract no matter how you slice it.

Considering how deep next year's draft is we need to trade Henson with our first to a team with a bunch of seconds. The Nuggets would be great as you can have them take protections off the one we already have and throw in the two they have in 2018.

If we like guys who are still available in the 2nd, we can just buy the picks when the time comes. The Bucks should not be trading their 1st.

Even better is they traded him for the rights to draft Jerian Grant, whom they subsequently traded to the Bulls for Rose's corpse.

nah.... tsnell's contract is still bad, having him go get an offer is still the right move if he wont accept 8m/yr or something. My point was that there's finally a contract given to a wing this season we'd all agree is worse, whereas we had arguments for mclemore, roberson, even ingles etc

Tim Hardaway Jr 's contract is not great, but it is fine. A bit overpayed but that happens to sign RFAs.

Don't get the lols and the comparison with Snell.

THJ 17.7M per
Snell 11.5M per

THJ is a starter SG/SF. He would be a starter in most NBA Teams.
Snell is a starter SG/SF. He wouldn't be a starter in most NBA Teams.

Both have still room to grow, there is some upside left for both.

So THJ got Monroe's money. I estimate THJ will be a starter throughout his contract. Monroe got benched a year after he signed.
THJ is closer to compare with Beal (23.7M) than Snell.
Check Beal's stats before becoming RFA year ('15-16) and THJ ('16-'17)

Overall, it is a fine contract. Not great, but not bad too.

Pat Riley getting busy yesterday. But feels awfully Herb-esque locking up a bunch of role players to long term deals

Surprised this board wasn't more about milos. Seems like a better shooting worst defending Rubio.

Really wish we could've pried jerry west. Love his moves so far.
