Hornets have their excitement back now that they are more healthy. Ball with a great game coming back from injury, near triple-double. I look forward to seeing them in the playoffs and really assessing ball, again I was a doubter, he has proven me wrong right away.

Near triple double? with 11-7-8 ? yet no one talked about Edwards’ 29-9-6? Okay.

Man im so sick of how overrated this dude is

....Why is your impulse to be incredibly negative about someone complimenting a young player for coming back and having a good game? LaMelo Ball is a tremendous talent, that doesn't detract from Anthony Edwards' potential.

Have we heard people talking about Ant? He carried that warriors game and no one cared

Plenty of people talk about Ant. He’s generally listed as the #2 rookie as columns/podcasts talk about ranking/redrafting the rookies. He’s just not going to be above Ball, whose creation and efficiency numbers are just much better than Ant. I would guess his defensive advanced metrics are also better. Doesn’t mean Ant hasn’t been good post all-star break though.

I know he's just coming back from injury and not 100 percent but the Lakers, a championship-caliber team are 1-6 since Anthony Davis has been back. Now Davis is of course one of the best players in the NBA but I like to point out again that your overall team plays a massive role in wins and losses. People give KAT crap for the wolves being bad and he does play some role but it's really unfair to just be like "He's not a winning player." and act like he is solely responsible for his bad teams.

You can take the best players in the game, Embiid, Jokic, Harden, put them on bad teams and they will still be bad teams. I hate the fallacy that true good players would always find a way to carry a team to good standing. Lakers are minus 56 with AD after his return.

And that's with LeBron too in the last couple

Really fun Cavs/Suns game. Garland is out, so Okoro is playing the 2 and having a career game. 32 points, 6 assists, on like 14 shots.

If the Cavs got Cunningham, this would be a fun team next year. I have no idea why the Rockets didn’t want Lavert and Allen in the Harden deal. Allen played well last year for the Nets and looking good now.

I bet the Hornets are going to get like 20 national games next year which is a huge jump. I wonder which team will suffer the most. Golden State might lose a few games but they should be healthy so don't know about that. Lakers could maybe lose a couple. Knicks are going to get a bunch, Heat probably lose a good amount. I could see us getting like 2-4 but wont be a lot of room with teams like the Hornets and Knicks taking big jumps in coverage.

Actually looking at the numbers from this season

akers - 16
Celtics - 14
Mavericks - 14
Pelicans - 14
Warriors - 14
Nets - 13
Bucks - 12
Clippers - 11
Heat - 10
76ers - 9
Suns - 9
Rockets - 7
Nuggets - 6
Blazers - 5
Jazz - 4
Raptors - 4
Grizzlies - 3

I think Celtics, Pelicans, Heat will lose a lot of games. Rockets will get 0 games. Raptors probably get 0 games.

Yea, the media/fans love him. They probably wont get 20 but I can see 10 plus.

Tom Thibodeau must be a God in New York right now. Seriously when was the last time the Knicks were good? Dude can probably do whatever he wants there. If they do anything big in the playoffs he will be eligible to get a statue made outside of MSG.

So, if we lose tomorrow (we won’t), it’d set up a five way tie for the second worst record? I’ve never seen that before. I kinda want it to happen just tinder that coin flip.

I know they will just average the lotto odds for those teams, but they would flip coins (or something) for those teams that don’t get a top four pick.

I think Celtics, Pelicans, Heat will lose a lot of games. Rockets will get 0 games. Raptors probably get 0 games.

Knicks will be a MAJOR winner, in that 10-15 range. Hornets will make a jump too, but probably only 5-10.

In the west, Suns will get more. Nuggets will get more. Jazz will get more.

Correct. In that case, each of the five would get 120 combinations instead of the normal 140/140/107/107/106 split. I do believe coin flips would be involved, but not totally sure.

Just thinking about the playoffs and realistically, I think it's pretty open. I got to think the Nets and Lakers are the favorites but they have been so riddled with injuries and players missing time, I don't know, I could see both of them getting beat. If they don't win it is kind of wide open. I don't trust the Clippers that much. The Jazz, Suns, and Nuggets could all wind up in the finals. The Sixers or Bucks could get a championship too.

I think it will be pretty wild if the Jazz or Suns get their first title. It would also be crazy to see the Sixers breakthrough and finally win it all with Embiid and Simmons. I hadn't thought about it much but yea, I think we could really get a new team winning a title this year again like the Raptors did. Should be a really good show.

It's crazy to me how tough the Knicks are. They are gritty as hell this season, Randle should be an MVP candidate. I would have never thought they would turn it around this much this season, they are a new franchise.

Update about the chance to grab 1 2 3 pick?
