I think he will sign w Heat but Griff will still let Lonzo walk.

I think he will go with shooting and a vet PG.
- McDermott has been linked
- Gary Trent
- Devontae Graham
- Reggie Jackson

I want to believe that but I huge part of me says Pelicans will still match. Hope I'm wrong

Smoke around Lowry to Heat.

Who will Griffin try to get with all that cap space?

Dinwiddie would be my guess, he should ask for a lot and pelicans are desperate. Would love it if Lowry would sign there but SD will be their fall back.

Smoke is saying SD to Wiz in S&T.

Shroeder to Knicks.

Lowry to Heat.

Griffin is in big trouble. May have to resign Lonzo. I don't think he wants to be there. Seems like he wants Chicago.

Hopefully the reports about Griffin wanting Lewis running things trumps whatever interest they have in retaining Ball as a desperation move.

Guy on NBA TV just said it would be a catastrophe for Lonzo not to come to Chicago. Said it is a marriage with Lonzo and Chicago.

Also said Rose only wants playoff teams and he wants to get paid.
Don’t know what that means for the Bulls.

My new Bulls off-season plan:

(1): Sign and Trade: Devonte Graham starting at about 18 traded to Bulls for Coby and Thad... Thad a vet big and they seem to be looking for one, Coby as a cheaper (but currently hurt) Graham replacement;

(2): Derozan for Lauri double S&T

(3): Theis returns via early bird rights for $ about equal to MLE

And that is about it... some super cheap center depth added, and Sato manages to stay (and even Aminu)

I don’t see Lowry going to NOP, he wants to win. I could see Miami easily.

Miami won't be able to offer him the same amount of money. Lowry said that it's all about money and years for him. I believe the Pels are ready for a significant overpay (3/90) and think Lowry is going to take that deal.

I could see Dallas making a similar offer, depending on how much space they can create.

NOP is going to offer Lowry 3-4 years worth 30-35 mil a year. That’s a lot of cheese to pass up for a chance to potentially compete in the playoff. My gut feeling is that Lowry will go to NO.

There's NY competing for Lowry too, IMO.

Mia can creat some significant cap space by declining Dragic and Iggy, renouncing Oladipo. Not 30M, but something over 25, I think.

A diff of 10 mil is a lot of money to pass up. You can buy up to 10-30 pieces of real estate with that cash and generate about 10-50K per month in free cash. Playoff or no playoff. Lowry at this point in the game is all about getting paid first and then winning and playoff second.
